Regarding charging, the usb plug and wall sockets can supply upto 2.4Amps... they dont "push out" 2.4A. It is fine to use them. The unit drawing the power dictates how many amps and drawn. The cable can only handle 1A, so if you use that cable to run your toaster, the cable will melt.
I hope that clears that up.

My son and I use the Pack Talk Black and have had no problems.

I’m pretty swanky myself. I have tried so many communicators/ I waisted so much cash. Of all the trials I just can’t beat Sena’s new Mesh/open mesh connections spider sets. Relitivly inexpensive vs the 50/30 series but compatible. The Bluetooth only works for a connection to your phone between sets it’s mesh. In practice I’ve had 10 riders connected and probably over 5 miles apart. The sound to your helmet is awesome. All pluses but the price. If you travel with a group definitely worth it.

Hey Ben! Got the MS-1 plus and have liked them so far. Great budget communication for a large group. I would like to record the group conversation but not sure how to make it work with the weird mic connection. Did you get it to work for talking with your dad on rides yet? Would appreciate any tips. Love the channel keep up the great work!

How do you like them? I've never actually tried to record audio that way. We always record audio separately, on the action camera's external mics. I think it'd be difficult to patch in some sort of pick up on these. I'd probably just run a mic right next to my in helmet speaker. It wouldn't sound as clear as your audio, but it might make it clear that it's coming from a com that way?
