6D has been elevating helmet technology since they first introduced the ATR-1 helmet to the market in 2013. The ATR-1 was a ground-breaking lid, utilizing 6D's ODS (Omni-Directional Suspension) technology which acts as an in-helmet suspension system that mitigates forces transferred to the riders head. 6D then revised and elevated their helmet technology once again when they came out with the ATR-2, which is lighter weight and features a rebuildable advanced ODS.

Can the atr 1 be fully rebuild
Yes, the ATR-1 helmet is able to be rebuilt by 6D.
Great review, and although I love ARAI and Shoei helmets, also, 6d looks like they are head and shoulders ahead of the pack with their safety technology. Questions: Is the ATR-2 only to be used with goggles or is a plastic shield available for it? The reason I am asking is that I am going to get a Honda CRF 250L Rally, and although I hope to minimize my time on the streets, I suspect 30-40% of my riding will be on-road vs. off. Thanks!!
The ATR-1 and 2 are both designed for motocross so unfortunately there is not an eye shield available for either helmet.
