She’s probably the most emotional one of the 3 protagonists made by Silent Team. Unlike Harry or James, she expressed her emotions a lot during cutscenes and gameplay. Probably my favorite protagonist in horror games

The song "letter from the lost days" playing here absolutely makes this scene iconic to me. This is my favourite scene in silent hill because it fits the series so well
This is one of the greatest scenes in videogame history. At least in my opinion. Mood, sounddesign, motion capture & acting performance are great and the song is fantastic! This gives me goosebumps every time I'm watching it even though it's such a simple yet so complex and interesting scene. And that was in the early 2000s! This is still very impressive.

@@docc_ Hi there. Yeah, they were geniuses. Graphically this game is beautiful and impressive, very impressive for the time. It aged like wine, the facial animations are amazing, even games of today can't replicate such a good performing, the developing of thid game must had to be HELL in earth.

I like how when Heather explains, she almost feels like she is both taking Alessa's story as if its her own, especially with the whole, she could have someone dead if she wished it part. I mean I find it fitting she concluded being both Cheryl and Alessa as one
This scene is massively underrated. The music, the scenario, the voice acting, how it connects to the first game - just perfect storytelling. Heather lamenting Harry’s death is incredibly touching too. Still effective 20 years later.

Been gaming since I was 8 or 9 years old, and I gotta say, even with the technology of video games becoming more advanced and allowing games to show more expression and become more cinematic, I still miss cutscenes like this in video games where they would advance the story, develop the characters, and give you as the player a nice break between the action of actually playing the game all at one time. I used to love this cutscene in SH3 because it did just these things.

Silent Hill (except the 1st one) has one of the best voice actings in any game, you dumbass! The character was even named after the voice actress (Heather Morris), for a deeper connection between them.
When Heather is saying 'to tell you how happy you made me', the way you can hear how she's choking back tears feels like a knife in my damn heart.

The fact that Harry loved Cheryl like she was his own and that she loved him just as much back makes it so heartbreaking.
