I really, really miss well edited lore playthroughs, that's why I fell in love with Plague's 1 hour brick episode. Now everyone does soulless streams that last for like 6 hours and 4 of those is just donation reading and eating. It's easier and gets them more money, to be fair.
@@spyder5876 it really is. Its wild to me that they never broke the million sub mark when they were together. I dont know how people can stand to watch streamers, its literally just monkies dancing for quarters.
@strayiggytv the parasocial relationship dopamine hits when they acknowledge your existence from reading your donation message or watch a UA-cam video you paid to get put in a rotation for a low effort reaction stream.
I know it's not the same, but they all went on to focus on their individual Channels and make content of their own. Plus, the SBFP Channel is still up, so you can always revisit old playthroughs or dip your toes in new ones for more content! Their Channel may not be active, but they managed to pump out an insane amount of videos to watch. They'll always be around in that aspect :)
I think it's hilarious Matt and Pat covered two games around the same time that were survival horrors centered around dads looking for their missing girl.
I remember in school, you were either a Resident Evil fan or a Silent Hill fan. Except me though, I was a Ratchet and Clank fan :) ...I had very few friends in school, come to think of it.
How you figure? Sincere question. SH2 is significantly better. Don't get me wrong, SH1 is quite good, especially for the time, but everything it does SH2 does better and with more.
@@Poet482 It's all personal perspective. Everybody thinks RE4 is the best in the series while i don't care for it that much and prefer RE2 and RE2 remake.
3>1>4>2 for me. As a whole, Silent Hill 2 has one of the best stories in any game, but out of the 4 Team Silent Games, it's actual gameplay is generally the most boring. The other games were/are more enjoyable to play as a game in itself... which as a video game, will always be more important to me. Silent Hill 3 is just like Silent Hill 1, and both are very aggressive horror games, but Silent Hill 3 is more advanced with the equip system, the item spawn/despawn mechanic, and generally more interesting enemy and environment design of any of the games. Even Silent Hill 4 that has problems is generally more interesting and I actually enjoy replaying it again and again. Silent Hill 2 is a good story, but as a game it is the weakest in terms of general enjoyment for me.
Patt's crazytalk went into its second form Shut up, Pat to completely change the sewer level to ezmode.
I thought Shut Up would be an emerging sub ability, Crazytalk had a phase with another name.
The only way to do LP’s
The power of the arrow... could this be... Crazy Talk Requiem?!

God I still talk about that brick episode.
I haven't watched them since they split. With the exception of Wha Happun? their solo content is awful.

@@doobeedogooder9342 That's like saying you can visit a grave because it's still there and it'll make it better because they're there.
@AedanBlackheart that's why people visit graves. That's the best consolation you're gonna get.
@@AedanBlackheart Hell yeah it is, welcome to getting old it only gets older around here.
I love when the game kills its audio to stop Matt from singing about shadow babies that smell like pee.
Love their Silent Hill series, great compilation work.

Truly pioneers of their time. XD
perfect for Halloween time
Good to see a longer compilation.
