Japan rescued the Turks thrown into the sea. Japan treated the injured many Turks who were saved. 69 Turks have been rescued. The Japanese gave the Turkish a warm meal every day. Many Japanese donated money to save the Turks. The Japanese loved and cared for the 69 Turkish people. The Turkish injury has healed. And Japan sent the survivors of the Turks safely to the Ottoman Empire. The 69 Turks were able to reunite with their beloved family and friends. The Japanese love Turkey. In Japan, memorial ceremonies are still held for Turkish people who have died.

I always pray for Turkish happiness. The statue of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk is located in the town where the Turkish monument is located. The statue is a gift from Turkey. And this video is the image when the statue of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk was placed. And after the statue was placed, the 120th memorial service for the Turkish died was held. The Japanese prayed for the deceased Turks. Many Turks also attended.

GREETINGS FROM GREECE (yes from Greece). Turkey has as great history as the Byzantine empire. I personally don't care about political or religious decisions of Turkey or Greece. @@AO-jk1pg The Ottoman Empire had lost a lot of land, money and power in the last century. Many Ottoman sultans realized that the Ottomans lagged behind European countries. They did some things to correct this situation. For example, they established Ottoman armies similar to the German and British armies. But reactionary people got angry at this. Because of these, they accused the sultan of destroying Islam and made riots. The Janissary House was doing all of these revolts. After Mahmud II came to the throne, he had all the janissaries killed and closed the janissary chamber. Mahmud II thought that the Ottoman Empire should be a modern country. For this reason, he prohibited traditional clothes such as turbans, gowns and big hats, and instead required fez and suits, which he thought were more modern. (Sorry for my bad English. @Fahim Hussain Almost all the depictions in our history books are very similar.
IV. Murad [Hüdavendigar] is said to be powerful. According to superstitions, he killed 4 executioners who came to his chamber to kill him on his own.
When he stood upright, his hands were extended to his knees. His arms were too long.
Mehmed II [Conqueror] had a long and pointed nose and thin lips.
He was thin, and had a pointed beard, according to Gentile Bellini's painting.
Selim I had a thick mustache. In some depictions it is drawn with an earring on his ear. He was tall and He didn't have a beard. He did not like to dress up fancy, and had a round face.
Depictions made by Turks arent really correct either. They all look alike.

They depicted them all as bearded and overweight.
What I don't like here is that theyre portrayed too old.

Fun Fact: The white "hats" (sarık in Turkish) are the shrouds of sultans. Purpose of this is to remind them that they are also mortal human beings even if they have all the power and they will all die finally. Ottoman sultans always carried this sign of death on top their head.
Also Suleiman the Magnificent advised to his Viziers that after his death, they should left his hand out of the coffin so people should see that even Suleiman passed away from this world with empty hands.

@@Hunter-e7e The 1683 decline is a outdated view already, the grand viziers were competent like the likes of the koprulu family of whome was de facto ruler during the reign of weak sultans such as Ibrahim I.It was agreed upon by historians that the Ottomans were struggling to keep up with the industrial revolution in the 1750s and was exarcebatedly hampered after the treaty of kucuk kaynarca in 1774.Sultan Mustafa III was the first to realise the Ottoman's precarious position due to outdated military technologies and tactics and cannot afford to solely depend on manpower as the centuries but thru firepower which is acheived thru industrial prowess and might. The more accurate view was the decline starts in 1783 where it exposed the internal weakness of the Ottoman army and the subsequent war against russia in 1787 proves that.
Mahmud II did it in 1828 but it was a tad too late already by that time other european states had industrialised by some degree and ongoing conflicts especially with Russia greatly reduced it's effectiveness as a whole but it was successful in creating a centralised goverment which was essential in delaying the empire's demise by almost a century. It did put up a good fight in the end.
