- With the recent reveal of the Joker in MultiVersus, I've been thinking: What future villains could we get in MultiVersus, or what if those villains were bosses? This video is covering some possible Villains in Warner Bros' catalog that could end up in MultiVersus.

Aku would be perfect for this game. He could be another titan character like iron giant and even shrink himself to normal size. His shape shifting abilities would make one of the most unique characters.
He does sound like he has a lot of potential
what could make Lord Buisness even better is that if for his boss fight it’s a tag team duo of him and Bad Cop

Oh dang this is really interesting to me. Some ideas I have from series I care about are Black Hat, King Xavier and/or Maya from Craig...Creek, Lord Boxman or Fink from OK KO, the Eagle King from Ivandoe, Serena from Craig Before the Creek, Tez from Victor and Valentino or Rob from Gumball
Black hat would 100% be in a TV show version of this. I love his character, and he would be fantastic. The rest of the characters you mentioned would be awesome as well!

Id think immortan joe from mad max would be a cool boss, a platformer where you have to just from car to car till you get to the war rig to fight him with his minions trying to blow us up with the spear grenades as well having to avoid the flamthrower guitar player

Glad you've finally covered the idea of bosses, which is something that not many people ask for. Bosses are cool and they add challenge to the game that's more than just the standard matches. I really like how you surmised attributes of the characters into the movesets (Agent Smith being a lightning-fast oppresor and Thrax being a touch-of-death boss are quite inspired). I also loved you putting more love into the obscure antagonists although I would like to have some of them be playable Pennywise and Audrey II would be fun heavyweights to mess around with. Hopefully bosses get unique themes as well, a frantic and bombastic rendition of "Big and Loud" or a hard rock remix of "Mean Green Mother from Outer Space" would be more than welcome in the game's soundtrack.
I do like the idea of all these villainous characters forming a Legion of Doom to attack all the universes involved. My final boss idea would be different, I'd say the Nothing could have potential to appear as the one behind the strings. Plus until the game's actual story comes out to debunk my headcanons, I'm basically equating him with whatever malevolent force was in that Pibby short, which already has a story that's a crossover crisis the likes of which Marvel couldn't compare. Plus a recent storyboard shows the entity loves to plaster old memes and trends everywhere for some reason, similar to what Joker does when he's hacking the Batcave... Coincidence? I think so!
In the situation where the game's heroes get their respective villain, I'd say keep the concept of the Joker trailer. Simply because it's another iteration of Sephiroth's trailer, King K. Rool's trailer, and Ridley's trailer, and arguably you could say Bowser Jr's trailer was the starting point. Make it feel like the villains are desperate to let the heroes notice them, or showing off their malicious schemes and power.
Sorry for the wall of text, you said "story mode" and my mind immediately started racing. I'm still waiting for a proper successor to the Subspace Emissary.
Bosses getting unique themes would be awesome. I’d absolutely love for that to happen.
I want spear and fang as separate characters from primal. I think playing as a Dinosaur would be awesome. You could have people ride on your pack and do tail spins. Bite people’s heads. It would bring great variety to the game if we could get those two as separate characters.
Also I have never even seen the show and could care less about it even tho I heard it’s great. I just want more variety in the game and they would be a fun addition.

I like a lot of your ideas! There are a lot of great ideas and I hope boss fights are implemented. I think that making it so it's just movie villains is restricting, but I also, understand that would make the video go on for a LOOOOOOOONG time. I have never heard of Twice Upon a Time but I like your boss idea! I haven't heard about Cats Don't Dance in a long time so that was a bit nostalgic. The main antagonist of the game was already revealed and it's The Nothing from The NeverEnding Story. I do like your idea to include that character though. They have such a huge library to pull ideas from and I can't wait to see what they come up with. I love these types of concept videos and I hope you make more!

I have heard about the never ending story Nothing thing. I could be wrong, but I thought it was just a theory that someone made that the whole community just sort of accepted. As far as I know, it hasn’t been revealed to be official yet. It’s definitely something to keep in mind though.

@@skullking6017 yeah I have seen that. I thought there is a chance that it just goes with reindogs backstory, and does not apply to the whole game. I actually think it could be cool to have a never ending story reference in the game though!

I would love to see Mars Attacks in this game man. Wether as a character, an assist, a stage hazard, or a boss like you suggested. Mars Attacks is one of my favorite movies in that sort of sci fi-comedy genre, so i would love to see it get some representation in this game in one way or another.

How about adding Lord Vortech as the final boss? I believe he would be a phenomenal addition as the final and the main villain of the story mode. As for Skar King, why not do a team-up with King Ghidorah, Mechagodzilla and Skar King as a trio.

The Witch King from Lord of the rings I keep thinking about. Could get a few skins his armour, OG ringwraith, ghost form, human, old cartoon. He has more weapons than just sword, the spike on a chain, the dragon, his horse. Think they could do lots of horror villains like Freddy Kruger, Regan from the exorcist or the nun etc.

Beetlejuice would also be amazing. Just think of him controllingthe stage and the way to beat him is to find Lydia, open her mouth and allow her to say Beetlejuice. You'd need to do this 3 times and each time he seals the mouth is different. They could also make more than 3 different ways to seal the mouth so it's not the same 3 solutions every time. And he controls the stage and has the sandworm going across the stage chasing you.

The Lord vortek fight could even have a smash ultimate boss rush section in it where you fight all the previous bosses in whatever order you like (let's just say each one is guarding a key that you need all of to unlock the final boss room)

I await spinel as a villain they teased her a while ago with a picture of her garden but never came I NEED SPINEL! From Steven universe
I would love to see Cheryl Blossom from Riverdale as a villain rep. And the actress who plays her, Madelaine Petsch, has the right energy to voice that character as if she would be in a platform fighter. Don't give me crap that the Archie comics characters can't be in Multiversus because they didn't originate at Warner Bros. Neither did The Neverending Story, and I believe Reindog comes from that series. If people want Elmo from Sesame Street, then a Riverdale rep should be highly considered just as much.
That's right, we need the people who performed as these characters. They got it right hiring the great Jim Cummings as Taz. So why can't the legendary Frank Welker be called in to voice Stripe (maybe Scooby Doo should have appeared in the vanilla roster for that to happen)? Heck, I even heard Beetlejuice is gonna be playable, and they'll only bring in Eric Bauza instead of Michael Keaton.
Ok lord vortech is an amazing idea as it makes sense to be the one bringing everything together. Also imagine Batman villains that can be added I mean scarecrow could be cool and riddler has a boss requiring you to collect riddler trophies. Also I don’t know if ninjago is licensed under Warner but imagine the overlord. But yeah vortech should be added as the guy who arranged it all. I mean we have had the cliffhanger for years of who grabbed that but if him. Imagine if it was some random guy who doesn’t exist anymore or actually vortech without the powers. I just think he would fit as it does make sense.

Well Jason is a thing now people are fixated on possibly getting in. I’d love to have him in the game. Same with Freddy Krueger. Boss or not they’d be fun additions. Especially for dialogue in Freddy’s case. He would have a lot of trash talk for the cast.
