Thank you for reviewing the Corsair, enjoyed it! I noticed some heavy distortions when you are turning around in the cockpit. If you want to improve on that issue please use LENSCORRECTION in the graphics menu, use the correct viewing angle (WIDESCREEN/CLOSE -> depends on what plane you fly) and always adjust your point of view (settings: HEIGHT), its way to high which causes additional lens distortions. The airplanes should auto-adjust these settings when choosing them, but for now you have to adjust it manually. That should minimize your distortions even when using headtracking and improve the visuals. Thank you for your work!
Thank you Ra Kon! Checked lens correction and it was indeed off. I’m always adjusting the height, especially after flying one of the airliners. Appreciate your insight on this and I will look into fixing it more. Sounds promising on the visuals. -Patrick
@@thaas85 Welp i’d love to check it out but my pc ain’t good enough for the sim. I am getting a new one, but I only have a card that is supposed to serve til I can afford the 3070. Until then, i’ll be waiting. I guess it’s good that i couldn’t play t before since now that I am joining somewhat soon there are quite a few nice mods.
Hello, Thank you for this video, this Corsair is really superb. I have a question about the landing of this pretty cuckoo, is it really realistic because often and for unexplained reasons, when driving after landing, he starts to switch completely alone? It is sometimes confusing to succeed 2 or 3 landings, and completely mess all the following, with, however, exactly the same procedures and manipulations. Have you encountered these kinds of problems? Thank you very much
Do you lock the tail wheel on landing? I could never get this thing landed straight no matter how hard I tried and as the result I ended up crashing the a/c off the runway.. Taking off is a bit challenge as well because the a/c severely has the tendency to veering left.
Per your question I went back into the sim to test. I did have "Engine Stress Causes Damage" ON for this video. Turned it off and I was still able to bust the prop and blow the engine. So looks like you will need to fly it accurately. -Patrick
@@FSElite ah okay. Thank you so much for testing this. I may have a real think before buy then. Thanks so much for the quick reply and help. Keep up the great content 😀
@@Blackbirdsims ah okay. I'm dyslexic so reading a large manual before but isn't something normally do so thanks for telling me. Does that work for all failures or just blow out? Edit: I just downloaded manual and used quick search for any key words could thing of and couldn't see anything saying about disabling any damage systems so not sure what missing 🤔
Love all the warbirds and anything with round gauges. That said... You can only pretend to be some rich guy who flies these birds of prey on weekends and airshows.
I can confirm this is a beautiful addon, and so much better than most of the other GA stuff released so far.

Thank you sir!
This thing looks lit!
It's my favorite plane right now. There's just something about it that really speaks to me.

Great video! Subscribing now!💚
I’d spend money on that bird
Do these failures toggle like with normal aircraft so if you have system damage off it won't break or is it one you have to fly accurately?

@@daradicalcavy5235 If you read the manual, you will see that you can click on the CHT gauge and that will disable the blowout.

@@daradicalcavy5235 I believe that’s the only one you can prevent.
