I know you're 100% just joking but incase anyone doesnt know, she started out/actually used to write a lot of songs for other artists. Miley cyrus, chris brown, david guetta etc
i may have main character syndrome but I could never stand how that era of pop sounded. the whole "lookatme" vibe where you never see any of the rest of the band because its so centered on personality. something repellent as well about how hard it tried to sound "epic and cool"
not pavarotti, just 2000s pop singers. I realize a lot lf artists have a personality cult aesthetic, but I can really only tolerate it if I enjoy the music
If it’s any consolation the bands usually are studio musicians. Interchangeable and just part of the artificial mass produced garbage pop music system. For them it was probably a decent paycheck and they would be able to live normal lives still.
The personality cult aesthetic you're talking about was often imposed by producers of record labels or they intentionally picked such artist who enjoyed that because it was selling
A Nessun Dorma Blahem ("blaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeemmmmmmmmm").has the potential to be an all time great blahem, but these days he'd just fuck it.

I can’t tell if you’re describing Pavarotti or not 😅
That era being the last 50-60 years you mean?
