What colour lures are best to use for winter time pike fishing? Canals mainly. I’ve been using either really dark ones or blue/silver. Was thinking of getting that green rapala lure that you guys used in this video.
In this vid were using the Berkley Zilla baits. Great lures for any time of the year. I always find its what works on the day. Sometimes they will take something bright sometimes something dark. They say bright lures for dark murky water and normal colour lures for clear water. But I've caught in all situations 👊

Those scopes take some of the fun out of fishing but on the other hand you guys would never get skunked either. Either way I watch every vid. I live in massive pike country here in Wisconsin. Go somewhere you can cast and practice. It's hard to exain how to use a Baitcaster. Best advice I could give would be to get out there and practice practice practice

Some canals are ran by a fishing club. Some arnt. Keep an eye out for signs. It's up to the clubs to make us aware if we're fishing their waters via signs

Lads in winter our rivers are really difficult lure wise, are canals slightly warmer or something, you guys seem to always find the pike.
