I mean.....Boomerang Energy is a card that does alleviate some of that annoyance that comes with Slaking ex discarding energy, along with powerglass recycling energy. So you could crispin 1 basic energy, then manually attach the boomerang energy. Both of these cards I feel people underestimate/underutilized
What "doest not stack" means that if you have multiple togekiss, only one will trigger from any KO, but you can trigger it multiple times in a turn if you can KO multiple active pokemon with stuff like Dusknoir and moving damage around before your attack. Hydreigon can use a neo upper and janine/dark patch or double dark patch in a turn. As it is a stage 2, most of the time it will have already a basic energy from a previous turn. You could also move double dark to it with the free retreat morpeko if you are sure it cant be ko'd next turn
I disagree. Since Dusknoir is *EVERYWHERE* , 1 Dusclops and your Joltik gets KOed before the opponent attacks. If I am giving up prizes, It should be done within my turn on theirs, so that I can pull a Counter Catcher can gust for 300 Turn 2.
I disagree because you have to attack with joltik and magneton doesn’t so you can keep pikachu attacking and in the active for the ability. Plus going behind on prizes lets all the great comeback cards activate
@Chienpaoplayer if you're running joltik in Pikachu, you're aiming to go 2nd so you can attack with Joltik. Even if your joltik dies next turn, who cares? You just offset your opponents prize mapping, and you have 2 pikachu's in play on your following turn that have the grass and lightning energies on them. You could easily hit with the 1st pikachu by attaching the sparkling crystal, and your 2nd one gets the metal energy manually attached, then boom you have 2 pikachu ready to hit. Now, once your energy is discarded after attacking you can easily reload with a crispin for the 1st Pikachu with the Sparkling crystal on it. For the 2nd Pikachu, you can attach the Hourglass tool on the turn you hit with it so that you can accelerate 1 of the energy at the end of your turn, and then crispin once it's your turn again. Do you understand now? I'd go as far to say that Magneton is much slower to use since you have draw/discard through your deck to find energy, discard them, find magnemite and magneton, pray they don't get sniped by dusknoir etc etc. Then you run into the issue of keeping a consistent flow of magneton coming in and using them. That strategy is so linear and exploitable in comparison to my strategy that I mentioned earlier.
@@aS__Spencer Relying on Joltik for the majority of your energy acceleration in the way you describe still has flaws. There are plenty of ways to work around Pikachu's ability, many of which are already played in existing decks. Plus, your opponent can just ignore the Pikachu and gust up Pokémon on the bench, which you will likely need at least a couple of since you aren't guaranteed to get all the pieces you need off of top decks and supporter cards alone. Even with its ability, Pikachu isn't guaranteed to survive long enough to do more than 1 attack. I'd argue that having at least a 1-1 line of Magneton is needed in order to attack turn after turn, and imo it's just good to have since it makes the deck a bit more flexible and allows for other attackers (like, say, Iron Hands) to be used more easily alongside the Pikachu.
The gravity mountain seems awesome. Play tserrena ex or rat to put stuff to 10hp remaining and knock them all out with it Also the amped stadium can do the reverse on big basic decks forcing them to not remove the stadium and then you can remove when needed
Gravity mountain can be good against ex 330 hp pokemon to allow pokemon that can hit 300 (driftloon / Pikachu EX) to KO in one hit, I’d rather run gravity mountain over the +30 hp stadium because then they can just remove the stadium instead to KO the driftloon. I do think it’s more of a niche card, I might run just one in my gardevoir ex deck for charizard ex matchups. You could just argue monkedori… and yeah… but again, niche cases.
6:34 that’s tatsugiri? All this time i thought it’s a crab 6:45 if we had 1 basic pokemon and we got 1 stage 1 pokemon of it, can we evolve the basic one using thi effect?
I think crispin with the pikachu could be really strong as well. Attach an energy to it on bench then next turn crispin the other two and bonk. Lots of ways to get it set up
For Pikachu ex: Leafeon, colorless attack: attach 1 Grass energy from your hand to a benched Pokémon, and heal all damage off it. Use with Beach Court, Powerglass, and/or Archaludon. Bianca’s Devotion: heal all damage from a Pokémon with 30- HP remaining. Or tech it into an existing Galvantula deck. Once item lock no longer matters, switch to OHKOs.
A quad pikachu deck with no energies would be annoying. Quad penny, 3-4 pal pad, a ton of disruption. Only counter is canceling cologne, which decks that can one-shot don’t usually have.
13:10 for a second, I thought he was wrong, but it turns out Cramorant can Ignore all energy cost on the card. I thought it was only colorless, since all the other TMs don't ask for any Colored energy.
Giratina V already does that. The Tatsugiri ex will help after rotation, but no telling how popular Mimikyu or Cornerstone will be after rotation. Edit: Plus Regidrago VStar rotates out next year so it super won’t matter haha
Slaking w/ Terapagos and Boofers, glass trumpets and crispin with grass energies and a tech'd iron leaves ex. Have the single prize Slaking with reversal energy as a single prize option. Can be an amazing deck imo if the meta is right
Thanks for the video, Azul, I have a doubt now, does that mean tatsugiri can put stage 1 or 2 in the bench with his attack? Because it says pokemon, not specifies basic
Bro Slaking could easilly 1 hit ko a charizard. Just give Slaking a Max Belt! and for recovery of the max belt when you somehow eventually get ko'd just use the supporter Rosanne's Backup to but the max belt back into you deck and then Arven it back out in your next turn!! 👍Oh and for energy just add 4 or 3 Boomerang Energy to the deck, Slaking only needs 1 and then any other energy of your choice. to draw out the boomerang energy just use colress tenacity.
Maybe I'm cooking here but wouldn't boomerang energy + Teal mask ogerpon + energy switch be solid for slaking? You'd discard your boomerang energy, and it just ends up coming back onto the slaking.
Why have boomerang when you can energy switch and attach for turn? You can still accelerate energies to the ogerpons... Please step out of the kitchen sir.
What about the Dipplin with festival lead for togekiss? For example, knock out pidgey, flip a coin, get heads, take extra prize. Opponent chooses new pokemon but it's still your turn. Knock out charmander, flip coin? it's heads? Take extra prize? I think "this ability does not stack" means that even if you had two togekiss on the bench, it wouldn't use both of them, just one of them. I don't actually know if (because it doesn't say it can't be) it's ability can't be used twice in your own turn. Just not two togekiss for the same knockout?

Same tbh
Slaking ex with max belt, trumpets, and boomerang energy can hit 330 and you keep the energy
