Thank you Ina - I am converted now to using this method! I enjoy all your videos and love your great taste in yarn and patterns too.
Thank you Ina, this was very easy to follow, with great tips. I had always wondered how to do the gusset on magic loop, but understood when you pulled the cord out in the middle of the heel turn stitches, thank you!
i so so so love that you showed us how you make these socks i loved them ever since you made them for parents friends that one year thank you
Ina, so happy to see you! Thank you for the great tutorial. I can not wait to see your stash clean out video!

Great tutorial, I am also a sock knitter but I have never seen the kitchener stitch made with the knitting needles before 😮 that’s brilliant. Thank you ❤
Thanks!

Så kjekt å høre! 🥰
Very professional and easy to follow.
Thank you!!!! I have been searching for so long how to knit a top down sock, I have proper patterns too, but I am visual, so I could not use them much. BUT now the search is over! I save this one and will use to learn to knit socks. :D
Thank you for sharing!🥰 Hope you find the instructions easy to follow. Happy sock knitting🧦😊
@@InaKnits Indeed! I finally understood how to form the heel and toe! :D Hope you will make other tutorials, too. Like how to make yolk or raglan ;)
Hi Ina. This is a wonderful pattern. Thank you. Is the pattern written anywhere? I can’t seem to find it. As a novice, I find it helpful to have something in front of me that I can go back too. Keep up the good work. ❤
Absolutely fabulous tutorial ❤❤❤
Ina thank's so much for this great tutorial!!!! ❤
Thank you I learned a lot !
Such a great video. Thanks so much.
I knit a lot of socks, but I always enjoy seeing how other people knit their socks. (there’s always something to learn). It was interesting to me that you worked the slip stitch heel flap on the wrong side, and also started the heel turn on the wrong side. I really like the look of this heel turn (I’ve seen this called a Dutch heel, and also a Square heel turn), but when I knit it, it always looks a bit sloppy on one side (the SSK side). Yours looked very neat and so I’m going to give it a go starting on the wrong side of the work to see if this might eliminate my problem. Also, a good tip to change colour after the purl stitch! 👍 Thank you. 😊
Thank you for your comment on the heel, now I know that it’s the Dutch heel turn I like knitting so much😊 Hope my way works well for you🫶🏻 Happy knitting!
Tusen takk! 🥰 Mange gode tips å ta med seg.
Really enjoyed this tutorial, Ina. Would you mind showing us how you do your pearl stitch? Slowly and clearly. I would like to learn this way. Thank you for considering.
Thank you for asking! I’ll record a video to show you, stay tuned😊
Hi I've been following your tutorial, when coming to the heel flap I think the number of stiches I have to knit is dierent since the totsl stiches I have is 48 in total, so how are my stiches in the heel flap in this case ?
I mean the heel turn, how many stiches I need to purl until I do SSK ?
The heel stitches are half of the whole stitches. You should have 24 stitches for your heel and divide them in thirds for the heel turn (16-16-16). First heel row:
knit two thirds (32), then SSK, turn work
Second row: slip 1, purl Center third, p2tog.
Third row: slip 1, knit Center third, ssk, turn work
Repeat row 2 and 3 :)
