Excellent video and great performance from both of you! I have the Wampler Plexi Drive Deluxe V2 and it’s a fantastic versatile overdrive tool with a powerful 3 band EQ plus the independent boost switch! Brian Wampler knows how to make good dirt pedals for sure! You can get so many different killer guitar tones! 🤟🏻🎸🔥
Last year I got a Wampler Belle (Nobles ODR-1 type circuit with some small mods) and I have just been smitten with this pedal. I have always wanted something a bit fuller and still kind of lower to mid gain and this thing just runs away with it. The sounds I get are just nice and round yet, there is still a nice clear articulation because the gain doesn’t get out of control. The bass control can pull back on the “boomy” kind of lower end it can produce when you turn the drive up.
Love Pete's vibrato. But his Boss and Ibanez pedals sounded more like fuzz pedals than overdrive/distortion pedals, too sputtered. Maybe his microphone was too loud? Anyway, I'd have to go with a multi effects pedal like a HeadRush, Helix, or Kemper for more variety of amp and cab tones. They sound even better into the effects return of a tube amp

Great Demo guys! @Nick Bowcott What patch cables are you two using to connect the pedals ( the ones with the orange on them)?
unbelievable, how boys can have fun and satisfaction until they die. no problem list. heavy empress seems good.
It would be pretty cool to meet Nick Bowcott one day...

I'm gathering the stipulations of "4 desert island pedals" means no multis.
CryBaby Mini> Drybell Vibe Machine> Xotic SL Drive> Xotic EP Booster> Strymon El Capistan
Pete is Jimmy Page part 2!
I'd say these 2 guys chose pedals from the Sweetwater store who are financing/sponsoring this video :)
Yeah, "you can choose among the pedals do we need to move" :)
Oh FFS Bowcott, we get it, you suck at guitar…that ad nauseum lowering of expectations was toast years ago…can we just focus on the demos…
