you've most definitely convinced me to buy skip beat😩 i bought vol 1-10 & 16-18 about a month ago, which was a risky and spontaneous buy for me but i was swayed by all the hype you were giving it and YOU WERE ABSOLUTELY RIGHT😊i'm literally in love with this manga so tysm!!
Yes!! Which ones are they 😍🥰🥰 Thankyou so much he’s doing so well! He’ll be getting checkups monthly to make sure we’re monitoring him but he’s been doing well at home ❤️
That’s great to hear, hopefully he is on to full and long term recovery. My absolute favorites are- Nana, para kiss, banana fish ( 3 heartbreakers that messed me up in younger days), skip beat and kimi ni todoke( will die for main characters), a condition called love. I also like happy marriage and in the clear moonlit dusk, but not much. I love other works of author of dragons between betrothed, meguru hinohara, which is therapy game. Heavy smut, but the main relationship is quite good.
@@nushrathumaira2257 Ahhh yes the stories that will break us, i feel the more strongly we feel emotions when we read is when i love the story that much more!
I think the thing with paradise kiss is they aren’t supposed to be relationship goals, Ai Yazawa writes some real messy bitches 😂 I kind of like it because I get a bit bored sometimes when all the characters in something are too idealised. It feels more realistic to me especially for alternative people the ages of the characters for them to be edgy and angsty. Definitely need to be mentally prepared for Banana fish, I was cryyyyying.
Oh totally! I am of the opinion that to a certain extent in fiction there are things you may enjoy, but obviously don’t condone or like in real life. aka violence, abuse, toxic relationships etc! But I know people can get sensitive to things like that so I usually try and warn people certain themes. I did absolutely love the anime when I watched it. Nana is also full of messy relationships 😩😭
@@lyddiemoon that one blonde guy in trap nest is the only non red flag and that’s because he barely gets screen time 😂 she just loves messy bitches and I’m here for the tea 😂
The last three or four volumes of Skip Beat have been thin like that. I belie it’s because the mangaka is having health issues and can’t draw as much. Since chapters are usually published in a magazine there is a strict deadline and so they reached a compromise and she has been making them shorter. On one hand I understand but on the other hand it’s so annoying having to pay the same price for such a thin book. Viz could wait and release more chapters in the same volumes instead of churning them as soon as they can, or they could reduce the price of the thinner volumes because right now it kind of feels like a rip off.
Completely off topic, Lyddie, but what is the whiskey on your shelves behind you. I think I had a bottle a few years ago and can’t remember what it’s called.
@lyddiemoon it's worth a try! it's a high school romcom series about a high school student who's also a shoujo mangaka who gets inspiration from his everyday life/friends. can't judge whether its humor is up your alley tho 😅

Haha of course! It’s Toki Suntory Whiskey! ❤
Could you include your currently reading/read list on the tracking site you use in the description of your videos?
Not sure what you mean. But I use Goodreads if that’s what you’d like to see?
@@lyddiemoon yeah sure. Goodreads/MAL/Anilist/Mangaupdates anything is fine
@16:27 female student regarded as the school prince and thrives in it? sounds like Kashima from Monthly Girls' Nozaki-kun 😂
OH IM INTRIGUED!

Really hoping you enjoy the Sugar Apple Fairy Tale manga enough to consider the light novel! It's fantastic 🥰
I heard so many people enjoyed the anime so I’m hoping I enjoy it too 🥰
