Gnome on Wayland was what pushed me to switch to KDE.

I keep using the Xfce fedora spin. The KDE looks pretty, but still has a few hiccups.

Gnome was good until Gnome 3.x when became total garbage. I've tried a recent version and it's useless. My favorite desktop is MATE, but I wanted proper Wayland support so I went to KDE Plasma. It has some quirks, inconsistencies and annoyances, but at least it works and is reliable.
