  • The basis of Living Opera is to promote a dialogue between singers and opera professionals. So many artists have suffered with performance anxiety and real issues that affect their mental health, but nobody talks about it.
We are losing real talents because of this, and we are hoping that by being transparent with our stories, it will help more people to be courageous to stand up and get the help they need.
We waited far too long to get the support we needed, and our mission is to make sure the next generation never falls into this trap.
If you are interested in more of our work, visit our website at:

We are both on instagram under our names, and we have a Facebook page too!
Thanks as always to our faithful supporters, and those of you who are striving to create a more inclusive, healthy, and prosperous environment for ALL of us.

This was broadcast live on Instagram, and has been edited down for UA-cam.
If you have questions for us, please feel free to leave a comment, or join us next time we go live! We usually do an extended Q & A for our Instagram audience, but have stopped including this portion on UA-cam to keep the length of our videos down.
We wish you all a wonderful weekend, and a Happy Thanksgiving for all our American friends who are celebrating!

Hi guys, just found your wonderful channel. I’m a Tenor and CounterTenor and I nearly quit 3 years ago when my late mother died in a sudden accident. I lost all my will and where music previously saved me from bullying at school, this time I felt very uninterested in singing anymore.
One morning I woke to an ear worm and it kept repeating Phantom of the Opera line “Sing for me.” No joke! Until I did, just to shut it up. I have no idea whether this was a message from my mother or just some junk that got stuck in my head but it worked!
