Ok well im sold!! There's so many places this is way better than a torch.. no open flame, gas bottles etc. De tempering for lathe work, than tempering for tool steel.. under the hood for stubborn bolts where a torch is capable of burning wires, plastic. I was on the fence about getting one now im convinced
I anneal brass shell casings with mine. Tried using it on some trailer suspension nuts but didn’t have the right size coil and didn’t have a customizable coil. Now I do but already fixed the trailer. 🤷♀️
I tried baking a birthday cake and then put a slice by a wheel bearing and nothing happened. Even had the right amount of candles on the cake, nothing....they were lit and everything, it was perfect. 🚶🚪🦕

That’s exactly it! Don’t get me wrong, torches have their place for sure, but I use this thing wherever I can now

Did 4 wheeler bearings yesterday. Used a torch and birthday candles. They fell right off, no problems

@Jeffindsm didn't sing it happy birthday, did you?
I also tried serving a slice to my wheel bearings. Nothing happened. Maybe they don't like funfetti?
Got a link for this? I've been wanting to get one for those jobs where flame can't be involved
Amazon (induction heat) he was using a “hot rod”
