I thought the strongest spell in the game was Karthus Avatar. That's the guy that literally became the God of magic for a bit. It's a spell that lets you become any God of your choosing basically and take that god's place
I found those questions alot more fascinating then the spells. Mostly because they were things j never considered and are things that could actually affect me as a player
Rendering entire kingdom into barren wasteland is bad, but I'd say Karsus' Avatar is still more dangerous if it were ever successful. I guess the real reason is that no one has been able to prove the spell was cast or it was on purpose, so, they kill people to cover up, not to actually prevent anyone from casting something as destructive?
@@themurmeli88 I think a name like killing storm is something completely absolute. Instead of reverting everything like the previous spells have mentioned. I think killing storm absolutely demolishes everything affected by it. Every fortress, every animal, every plant, every person, every *soul*. Destroyed, not dead, but obliterated. No afterlife, no past, no present, no future. Removed from existence entirely. Perhaps only remembered by those who casted the spell or were at the ritual site. Perhaps the souls of the elven high mages who died performing the ritual were reminded of it in their reincarnation, and founded the inquisition upon realizing the effects they sired in their previous lives.

Was thinking the exact same thing!! Am preping for my PCs to crash the ritual and was thinking about the mechanics of that and this video gave me a lot of ideas!
I don't think so. Rhexx said that an entity bound by that spell is trapped in a sub-planar pocket, and their influence on the planes is nullified entirely. If she were bound by that spell, she wouldn't be able to grant cleric or paladin magic. She wouldn't even be in Avernus, or any other plane for that matter. She'd be entirely outside of any and all planes, trapped in a place that's... nowhere (is how I understand it).

Killing Storm is kept secret out of guilt, the Sun Elves deliberately murdered the nation of Myeritar at the end of the third crown wars. All Because they did not differentiate between the worshippers of Lolth and Eilistraee.
@@defensivekobra3873 Not quite, the Sun Elves invaded Myeritar on a regular basis during the crown wars, I forget why exactly I'd have to dig out my older copies of D&D lore that cover the Crown Wars and right now I don't have the time, however the people of Myeritar were not incapable of defending themselves and fought back bitterly, often engaging in guerrilla warfare when the Sun Elves had fully occupied the country. Eilistraee is the Goddess of sword fighting as well as music, beauty, moonlight and dance after all.
@Lamodrick Foster And this is why I prefer both the Drow and the Shadar kai, at least they're honest about their bullshit and you know that eventually they'll betray you.
@Lamodrick Foster Yea and and those who survived, and other dark elven nations sieged elswhere was pushed into hands of Lolth. And for that Corellon banished them all, and punished only Vyshan royal blood for starting Crown Wars...
@Lamodrick Foster to be specific, not the Dark Elves was the ones, but Avariels + true green (wild) elves + sea elves was the first ones who came to Toril during first wave of migration. They totally lost to dragons, and when the second wave of elves came - the Dark Elves leaded the way. And yes because of the Gold Elves who was destroying leftover opposition in Feywind. And the truth is this that not only Dark Elves was the ones who bring the Dragon Empires to dust. In that time the second wave of elven migration to Toril was already ended, and all other major elven races was subjected to Dragons, slowly forging the rebellion. But I found nothing which exactly race (propably those high mages ware from dark, gold, moon and green elves altogether) performed DracolichMythal ritual. But together with first appearing of King Killer Star - all elves rises up against the Dragons. But true is that - the Dark Elven high mages ware so powerfull, that Killing Storm was a necessary pre-emeptive attack. If it was not so strong there was suspicion that those who would survive was able to do the same with Vyshan Empire. And there is also one wrong information - it was the Dark Elves who was the first ones to use High Magic against other elves during the war (by accident destroying the sea elves realm). You're right about cutting the rotten limb to save all seldarine body. But Correllon was able to banish only those who accepted Lolth (and her dark powers) - and he chooses to banish all dark elves only because they ware always the opposition to Gold ones. From the other side: Punishing only Vyshaan royal blood was not enough, because the root of the problem (Gold elves self-thinking superriority above other elven races). Some kind of "fixin" this was cration of MoonBlades, as the judges to the elven high born families. And the judgement shows that only 20% Gold elves of those who proceeded the test survived... And that The Crown Sword showed to be in Moon Elf family... But this is for another dispute.

So, this has some potential implications for the god Wee jas. From what I read Wee jas lives on the lowest level of Acheron, Acheron is the realm where everything lost and forgotten eventually ends up, it's basically an omniversal landfill, but importantly even memories and moments in time can end up there, frozen in ice. Wee Jas is said to walk the sheet of Ocanthus, the lowest level of Acheron, searching for lost memories of magical power or dying moments, so lets say a spell were to completely be forgotten, it could potentially end up there, and if so there is potential for Wee jas to find it.
I imagine that there are some elven guards that found The Killing Storm down there after planeswalking over with a Plane Shift or some similar spell. Then, without daring to look upon it, they guard it. Though Wee Jas, being a God could easily destroy them, which he might have already done, it has yet to do for unknown reasons. Or maybe he just hasn't found them yet. Sounds like an interesting adventure idea though.
@@ticonofruger573 They must be some tough mother fuckers because almost nothing can live on the lowest level, it's basically an ice sheet with shards of ice flying around that do great sword damage that ignore damage resistance, wee jas being a god can exert her will over the plain so she and the place she resides are immune to it, but anything else dies in seconds unless it has some form of extreme protection.
I now imagine a secret cabal of elves who's only purpose in life is to know the vaguest, tiniest hint of the spell's existence, and never forget it, but also not know anywhere near enough to do anything with it with the intention of protecting the knowledge from ending up there. Maybe some elf with the knowledge was sealed intentionally with the Donjon card from a deck of many things, creating an immortal "knowledge vault" so to speak, with secret guards and wards making their prison impossible to find.
@@burnin8able There is another alternative, the lowest level is the most dangerous, but the upper levels are less so, to the point where one of the levels known as Tintibulus, it's a layer above the lowest one, is nothing but shapes crashing into each other with a massive dust cloud from the things that have been destroyed in the collisions, the only individuals who live on this level are actually mages that have managed to survive here, they store their secret libraries and research areas here as the colliding objects makes for a wonderful deterrent, so it would be possible for the elves to send a particularly skilled mage to keep the magical secrets in a hidden library on that level so that the odds of them being found by the wrong people are reduced, assuming the other mages didn't find out.
Plane Shift is a fairly high-level spell, and there are a lot of high-level adventurers, a good deal of those being elves. That was just my first thought, but now that you mention it, you do have a point. They're adventurers. They'll think of something. And watch your gosh darn language.

I have Fenrir in my homebrewed campaign and a warlock beholden to him. He wants to set his patron free, I'm so glad to have this to add a little bit more lore to how such a powerful entity was bound.
I have a similiar homebrew deity in my campaign that's an elder greater god of chaos, destruction, and freedom, and he was bound and imprisoned by the other gods for a secret crime. I was going to homebrew the spell, but looks like I won't have to now
There is a 9th level spell in 5e called imprisonment that could seal anything so long as you make a powerful enough material component (and can get through there legendary saving throws)
@@thesignless5514 That's true, but when you're dealing with gods who can cast 10th and 11th level magic, 9th is kind of irrelevant. It's not meant to imprison gods long term. It's more for strong mortals or monsters
@@thesignless5514 I know, and that was the original idea, that glepnir (the chain that binds him) was that material component. But to me that didnt feel epic enough, it felt cheap that the player characters could potentially and eventually re-bind the quasi deity. I'm my world the great wolf started as a normal wolf but was exposed to the weave over a long period of time, allowing abnormal growth and strength in the wolf, who started hunting larger and larger prey, gaining power and eventually intelligence as he hunted more powerful prey. Over time he grew large and powerful enough to start hunting dragons and minor deities, then even intermediate deities before he was seen as anything like a threat. Should he be set loose, it could be world changing and could shatter pantheons, I want it to feel epic in scale, not something that a dedicated party could tackle with the help of one powerful NPC or even without any NPCs at high enough level.
Well done again Mr Rhexx. Yet another Deep dive like no one else on You Tube. Makes being a DM much easier. I really find this level of detail to be extremely useful.
Not sure why you wouldn't just "binding is active while the subject of the binding exists". Arguably, if the binding is only active while the binding is active, then the reverse is true, and the binding ceases to be active if the binding is ever inactive. This could be a problem if the spell is able to be convinced it's not actually active.
Wouldn't a wish or time spell be able to undo it then ?, as you could simply wish the area the binding is in would be sent back in time to before the binding spell was cast. That would mean it wasn't active at that time, there by breaking it as it is yet to be active. Where as a binding based on something else, like a hero coming, isn't bound by the time in witch the spell is cast, as it's depended on something happening.
@@michaelsorensen7567 Could you then not kill the subject then, even if it's a God, moster or something else, just for a second before a rebirth or regeneration the subject would be no more. Or you could claim that by simply given it a new name or destiny the former subject is no more, kinda like the never ending story. One thing becomes something new, as a bucket is no longer a bucket if I have made eye holes in it and wear it on my head, as it's now a helmet (a crappy helmet to be fair), but it isn't capable of being a bucket anymore either as it has holes in it now. I guess it depends on how the spell works, it isn't something I know much about.

It's the same reason why people like sex; if everyone hated sex, no children would be born. The Elves literally don't need to sleep at all. I have a world I DM in where the evles have a massive empire which is bassically the Sun elf empire, killing any non-elves in their path. So this series had helped me get new ideas for what to do with them, ideas that my players will hate.
I have always played that Half Elves are disliked by fullbloods because they are essentially a lost soul. The soul that resides in the Half Elf is a true Elven soul that has been reincarnated many times in an ancient lineage. Now that it inhabits a halfbood, that soul is forever lost to the Elven people and will never be reincarnated again. Essentially each Half Elf is a soul plucked from the well of Arvandor, forever leaving a dead end where all other Elvish souls continue for eternity through life and afterlife and life again forever. All of the possible future Elvish lifetimes of that particular soul are snuffed out, potentially severed bond of love or family or dooming the noble soul of a hero to utter oblivion. Half Elves are literally doomed souls stolen from the past and future of the Elven race, and the Elves hate them for it.
But there is a cure for that. It is the ritual which allow to change subject into another race. This ritual allows to "connect" again a soul of Dhearow with Aryvandor, if the subject will be changed into other elven race. Was displayed in prev video
@@ElrohillLW Remember though, that those spells aren't just tossed around by Elvenkind. You might use a Wish spell ten times in your high level campaign, but it's a world altering spell that 99.99% of people will never even hear of. Resurrection and Raise Dead are WAY more common than any of these other spells I've mentioned, but those are insanely rare spells in an actual D&D setting. Resurrection simply isn't an option in the D&D world unless you've got a Cadderly in your back pocket. Even heroes of legendary stature just... Die. To say that you could just change the halfblood's race by using High Magic is like saying Dragons are easy to kill if you simply ask a deity to smite them for you. Both scenarios are just so astronomically unlikely outside of an overpowered twink campaign that they are not really solutions at all. Elves using High Magic on a halfblood would be like Dwarves using their divine crafting inspiration to make a toothbrush for a donkey handler. Just... Not gonna happen.
@@Diditallforthexp I think you're world's answer to half elves, makes a lot more sense than the canon d&d's "no one knows" answer. You expect me to believe that no elf, half elf, or human has ever used the wish spell to learn the nature of a half elf's soul? Elves are willing to sacrifice their lives, or even their after lives, for the sake of their community. So it only makes sense that they'd also be willing to risk never being able to cast the wish spell again, if it meant educating their race on something that important. So having elves know about the consequences of cross breeding, makes far more sense in my eyes.
For those wondering the source for elven high magic, it is detailed in the AD&D 2nd edition sourcebook Cormanthyr: Empire of Elves. This details elven high magic rituals and the changes to magic for the elves after the fall of Netheril as this was not the same for humans. The other sources that contain information on this type of magic are also from the same edition Fall of Myth Drannor (contains a 10th level spell), Netheril: Empire of Magic (contains 10th, 11th, and 12th level spells), and Secrets of the Magister (details the limitation on casting 10th level magic for humans). In addition, true magic (more powerful than 9th but weaker than 10th level magic) was also available in the same setting with the rules found in Dungeon Masters Option: High-Level Campaign. Also from the same setting, the dwarves had rune magic with some of the runes being almost as powerful as some elven high magic.

@Lamodrick Foster Ok but how is that any more dangerous than killing gods? I mean, the dude mentions binding the sun god which i'm guessing means the sun just goes away, which kills all life on the planet. So again, why be so hard on the killing storm over the other spells?

That binding spell and the sub-dimensional prison it sends them to sounds very familiar to the Vestiges summoned by the Binder class in The Tome Of Magic in 3.5 edition. It would also make a lot of sense that the binders are pulling the powers of entities from that same place because of the implication that puts on Deities, and why clerics and paladins regularly work to keep them a secret and also hunt them. Binders would probably some of the people closest than any other to being able to figure out how to release them.
Found for a DM? The book is in the description: "Cormanthyr: Empire of Elves". Found for a character? Probably in ancient elvish ruins or from a very old elf in a major elvish city.
Honestly I'd set the bindings to like "The one who knows the last digit of pi must yell out the entirety of pi while not being capable of doing so." I mean yeah, it could probably be something nigh impossible, but not *actually* impossible, then that wouldn't be a valid binding. If that's the case.... It could be something like: "Only when an entity or entities capable of easily killing the imprisoned entity (like, forever forever) and have the unquenching desire to do so, will the imprisoned one be unbound and its true form teleported to where the entity to do the killing finds most convenient in the pursuit of killing the recently unbound entity.

My rogue elf still sleeps because the rest of my party don’t actually know she’s an elf due to a racial stigma of elves being perceived rotten due to a war.
Seems like you can bound a target, and survive the cost for it if had more than the required hitpoints. My question is would the elf remain in a weakened state after reincarnation?
@Lamodrick Foster That was for specific sorcery spells and of elven *_royal_* blood. First video of this pansy elf magic series says that ANYONE can learn high magic, it's just the other races typically do not live long enough or have the patience to learn it. Takes like over 400 years to "become with nature" to even begin to learn the basics. Regardless, you still haven't answered the question as even op specifically mentioned "elf".
Makes you wonder about Tharizdun. Can we learn more about him? It seems like it took the massive power of the gods to cast this high magic banishment yet he still influences some cult members and warlocks all around.
I think the ISTANT she would be imprisoned all magic would fall apart, every magic effect would dissolve and she would be free instantly. Like the time that Karsus become the God of Magic, instantly died and every floating island fell down.
I think she'd have the ability to say "no" in response to it being cast, but if she allowed it to go through, I *think* it might actually just fully delete the Weave. The instant after that happens, the spell would presumably fizzle, but I'm not sure it would matter anymore, since there would no longer be a Weave to restore once Mistra was released.
@@Chiavica The difference being that with Karsus, the Weave just went haywire due to lack of regulation until the "new" Mistra could restore it. In this scenario, I think the Weave would actually be deleted, as it's the force she has dominion over, which is erased when a deity is banished by this spell. She'd be freed an instant after the spell is cast, but I think with that instant, it'd be too late to restore the Weave from its erasure.

From what I read Wee jas lives on the lowest level of Acheron,
Acheron is the realm where everything lost and forgotten eventually ends up, it's basically an omniversal landfill, but importantly even memories and moments in time can end up there, frozen in ice.

In the novel Evermeet it is mentioned that Corelon and the other elven gods had to help in the ritual to create the island or it would have failed.
Yes, at some point the power of the ritual was so great and uncontrolled, that would eventually destroy not only Toril, but Aryvandor also. So the seldarine gods had to interfere, and took control over such power. As rider controll the horse in galop.
@@ElrohillLW Yeah Imagine being Corelon if he and the elven gods had done nothing to prevent the destruction of Toril. Me think he would have to deal with a lot more than just Grumsh and Malar after everything is done.
And I swear at some point during that book it mentions more than 12 casters having to die for some such big ass spell. It's been some time, but when OP mentioned 12 as being the most needed for a spell, I had red flags popping up in my mind.
Because the Elves were literally manifesting Arvandor on Toril, which would have destroyed both Planes. Elves are a menace to existence.
I have Fenrir in my homebrewed campaign and a warlock beholden to him. He wants to set his patron free, I'm so glad to have this to add a little bit more lore to how such a powerful entity was bound.

“The binding is active for so long the binding is still active.”
Look me in the eye and tell me this isn’t possible.
Cleric: Well I’m done playing for 7 days ttyl.
@@logicseeker3770 Perhaps the soul is a new half-elvish soul.
@@logicseeker3770 I'm pretty sure it's just a plothole and that it's up to the dm of any particular game to decide
Sweet now we can cover kobolds :) please :')
My friend has an affinity to playing kobolds. I kinda have a real life dislike for them ever since his kobold betrayed my half-elf character to serve strahd while I was sacrificed and mutilated by a strahd friendly cult.
@@jamesrichards2720 I have built a world where the Dragonborn, yuanti, Lizardman, and kobold Banded together and dominated the other races. Rex has covered all of them but the Kobold, it's all I need to complete the social structure. They are dragon kin so I was surprised he missed them.
Well I'm glad I asked about the Half elves on that other video. Me personally I like the unknown aspect. The diversion of thinking among the elves seems like it could make for some interesting character interactions.
Things are always more interesting when there's a reason why a race might dislike another, rather than just blind stupid xenophobia.
That god binding one is giving me some ideas......🤔🤔🤔
You use god binding on the god of BDSM and are now their new vanguard
That was a great series. Really loved it. Thanks !
"in the book that you can find these spells"
which book, Mr.? plis gibe sorces!
2E I think
Cormanthor: Empire Of The Elves
I'd love to see more in depth videos on spells, even lower level ones. Info on how they were made and how they work within the lore of the world would be facinating to me.
Well now i want a story of an elf who hates the god of elf's and seals them away!
And i assume thay can be released by an elf who hates the god as much as the casters.
N'Quor"Khaor sounds like a minor version of what the realms deities used to imprison Tharizdan.
So that’s how The Chained Oblivion became The Chained Oblivion.
I wonder if Matt will see this video and be like "Ooh, MORE information!"
No.
The Chained oblivion was bound in a different way and he was bound by gods.
The Shackles work differently than this high magic spell.
Sir Castic
“I like ruining jokes because I have to correct everyone at any point even though they weren’t actually stating a fact, just a reference to another video!”
I haven’t played since thaco days! Power word kill was a good one
RE: N'Quor'Khaor
Sounds suspiciously like what happened to Tharizdun...although that implies there's a way to free him.
RE: Half-Elves
Could it be that a half-elf only has half the soul of an elf? like when a half-elf comes into existence half of an elf soul goes into the body and the other half just chills out in Arvandor or inhabits another half-elf? and then when the half-elf/half-elves die their soul gets reunited and goes back into the cycle?
I really like that half-elf theory.
Now I'm just imagining two half-elves adventuring together that each have half of the same elven soul, thinking that there's something really familiar about the other that can't quite put their finger on...
Shrink item is hands down the best spell you will ever have. In both usefulness and combat purposes. Especially if you have a dm that incorporates realism in the spell.
Wait, the patreon names were shuffled from the usual
Great video, great series. Thank you for all your effort in making videos for us.
With the binding spell, the casters die, but do they reincarnate?
Or as long as the binding takes place they are unable to do so?
This series was amazing, thank you so much!
Honestly, I'd take another 100 videos on the Elves, but of course you're bound to run out of lore eventually. ;D
In any case, this video series has once again reaffirmed my passion for Elves.
They're such fascinating and alien people.
"...via spells cast by a Human son of a Dwarf or Elf..."
*I'M SORRY, I THINK THAT'S JUST IMPOSSIBLE (unless the loophole is adoption)*
The dwarf and elf might have human in their blood and just by chance both of their human genes just matched out of random chance
I am inspired. There's brain-storming to be done!
Keep up the good work, MrRhexx!
wait, what's so bad about high moor that they dropped the banhammer on the spell so hard? I just remember it as being a swamp.
@Lamodrick Foster Ok but how is that any more dangerous than killing gods? I mean, the dude mentions binding the sun god which i'm guessing means the sun just goes away, which kills all life on the planet. So again, why be so hard on the killing storm over the other spells?
@@clericofchaos1 If I'm not wrong, Lathander uses the power of the sun but isn't the sun itself. So, for example, Mystra is the goddess of the weave, she controls it and makes sure it doesn't malfunction but isn't the literal embodiment of it, that is why Karsus is able to take control of the weave away from Mystrel. So if you bind Lathander it shouldn't be a problem since he isn't the sun and only uses it's power.
Exactly, there are more gods who has the sun in their portfolio also. So one Lathander will mede no difference (ok it will, but not so drastical - propably someone of his ex-arch or lesser god under him will took the place)
@@wizen2887 well, what about the chibaku tensai one that lets you rip continent sized chunks out of a planet? Idk man, I really think my original point stands. There are more powerful spells out there so I don't see why they got murder happy about this one.
Read the forgotten realms book "the blackstaff" for all your answers about the high moor.
I love your lore videos and your Elf in depth videos the most! I'm constructing some fan fiction using the lore in the videos you speak about ^_^ THANK YOU!!! you inspire me
Dr. Strange: Had enough yet?
Love all your videos. Everyone gives me a new idea to base a campaign around.
"In the book where you can find these spells it is very explicitly mentioned..." doesn't mention which book that is.
It's mentioned in the sources at the bottom of the description, like most of his videos.
18:03 ... Okay, so what the hell was so dire to push them to perform the original ritual? 0.0;
We don't talk about the Noodle Incident.
Oh man I've been waiting for this spell. Thank you MrRhexx, Fuck Yeah😀😝!!!
I seem to keep missing it - where can these spells be found?
Found for a DM? The book is in the description: "Cormanthyr: Empire of Elves". Found for a character? Probably in ancient elvish ruins or from a very old elf in a major elvish city.
Love your content. Would love to do a DnD campaign with you. Just because of how much you know and how you present yourself in your videos.
Honestly I'd set the bindings to like "The one who knows the last digit of pi must yell out the entirety of pi while not being capable of doing so."
I mean yeah, it could probably be something nigh impossible, but not *actually* impossible, then that wouldn't be a valid binding.
The being will be released at the site of the banishment
Looks over at my Restriction spell i have Created for a campaign I'm working on, i thought this was evil but that god Sealing spell is even more Stupid
(the spell of restriction is a level less spell (not following the levels system though definitely 10 or higher If put into it)
The spell was created by the leader of the BBEK (big bad evil Kingdom) who calls himself the god king and it has two components the Release Condition and the Restriction(the effect which must Restrict the Target)
The king has applied 3 restrictions upon himself
1, to be within the kingdoms borders at all time and his magic is limited by how close he is to his throne (the closer the more he has access to)
2 all Engraved with a specific rune shall be able to access a portion of his power
3 that those Engraved with the rune shall have the following restrictions applied to them Except the God king whom Created this Rune
" 1,all power ,Skill, Knowledge, Strength and Understanding are to be shared with all those Bound with the sigil which shall Grow as they use this Gift More Except the god King (true name here I haven't decided on a name)
2 that during the night of the new world Festival of ascension they're to confess their Truth before Ending themselves,
3 any attenpts to circumvent bypass or otherwise Escape this 3 fold Spell of Restriction shall be Punished by the auto casting of an additional spell of restriction
and those bound by this restriction have the following exit Conditions to die and merge with the God King during the Eclipse after Confessing their wishes and desires for the god king to here"
With a 3 fold release Condition
1. A night of simultaneous Eclipses must occur whilst the god king
2. Receives the heart wishes and Prayers of his People sitting upon his throne and
3. Sacrifice themselves to their God and King So that they may become one with the god king
(The release condition effectively Traps them permanently and only someone else forcibly Breaking the seal on them can bypass the restriction but they'll try Fight it
Note the spell of Restriction either Requires a direct connection with the Target(Physical Contact or a magical connection and the Rune effectively makes the magical connection
Note that the Rune/Sigil itself is the thing that counts as the Caster of the spell of Restriction on the god king because the Caster and Target of the spell can not be the same as it always Requires two parties (he hypassed this by making the Kingdom itself the 2nd Party with him its King being the first)
Soooo
Gather a bunch of liches then have them trap a bunch of gods
If you read some of the books there's also The Unmaking that Szass Tam tried to cast.
My rogue elf still sleeps because the rest of my party don’t actually know she’s an elf due to a racial stigma of elves being perceived rotten due to a war.
You are an excellent story teller. Love the content as well.
Seems like you can bound a target, and survive the cost for it if had more than the required hitpoints. My question is would the elf remain in a weakened state after reincarnation?
@Lamodrick Foster But the hypothetical is IF they could. We knew they can't but if they could, you gotta wonder what would happen to the caster.
Could Mistral escape from N'Quor'Khaor after it is used on her or would she still keep her UNO Reverse Card?
I came for a straight answer, instead got a 20 minute video
...
Worth it.
I found the loophole to the binding one: the binding can end only if the creature has died or been rendered permanently powerless.
Last one was performed in the book "the blackstaff" excellent book.
“One of the most important rituals was Mormhaor’Sykelor”
What’s your point you tuber within fire ball distance?
