Met him at a german (EC races in Buxtehude, for those interested...) event several times when I was a young boy... A very nice person, always there for his fans.
Not allways. he trew out none other than Petter Solberg as a child (solberg had won Tamiya cup and the price was to go and meet Schanche) but schanche had troubles with the car or had crashed something during practice so he was very mad and threw them out. :D
@Scrapheap71 Check Out the norwegian "Gatebil" arrangement :) cars in every shape,make and enginetypes goes at it at various tracks in Norway, there is really nothing like it!
