Kenny as a Mavs fan im telling you. Jason Kidd is a huge problem. His minutes, rotations, lack of defensive game plan. Look no further than the Pacers game. He had all of our guys hanging back from Turner because they were treating him like they didnt know he attempts 4-5 threes per game and can indeed get hot from outside. Would love to hear you talk about this further because outside of the Mavs community, no one seems to notice

Hardens mvp year was my favorite. As a rockets fan, I usually try to watch a game or 2 a week. But during that season, I was structuring my social life around watching the rockets. Every other night harden was dropping 40+ and it was must see tv. I know I’m a homer, but that was my favorite time being an nba fan

The thing that genuinely makes LeBron James record impressive. Is that players like Booker, Wemby, Luka, all who already have injuries concerns or lack of impressive athleticism and stamina in comparison. Would have to not miss more than 70-80ish games within 15 seasons. If any one of them get any significant or nagging injuries that keep them out fod a significant amount of time. It's over for a chacne at the record.

players just dont play enough games in a season to beat lebron's record. yeah they might average more than he did for their career and play as long but if they only play 60-70 games a season instead of 75+ it just won't happen

Luka is 25, so far throughout his career he has missed a little less than 13 games a season so let’s say he averages 69 games a season
These are the amount of seasons (rounded up) it would take to reach 40k points for the following scoring averages for the remainder of his career:
28 ppg - 15 seasons (total 21 seasons; age 40)
30 ppg - 14 seasons (total 20 seasons; age 39)
34 ppg - 12 seasons (total 18 seasons; age 37)
I think with the increasing longevity of players as well as medical technology it’s not unrealistic for Luka to accomplish 40k points
