as@saraandsybilhandmade says and using a thicker needle will help you too. You always has to make sure needle and feet matches the fabric :)

I make those kind of baby headbands to, and to keep to stretch in the fabric i zig zag instead of sewing straight.
Ooo this is a good tip! You use a zig zag stitch on your machine or do you actually feed the fabric in a zig zag motion? Thank you!! 💓

Good for you trying something new with the sewing machine but personally I wouldn’t put out the imperfect items as it reflects on your business. I think anyway lol
I didn’t really think about that perspective! That’s a good point. I offered up some of my beginner crochet items at a market and basically sold out of them, so I thought people might like to have them at a lower price but maybe I will donate them instead! ☺️
