Gotta say, the only thing that i think mappa missed the mark on so far is thorfinn's size. He is ABSOLUTELY JACKED in the anime. He looks like he eats 6 meals a day, at least 25g of protein in each. In the manga, his size looks way more like it should/would. He's a slave for crying out loud
Despite that, I still respect Canute. He's just built different. He's taunting God to make a point. I don't agree with his viewpoint but man's a literal savage, I'll give him that.
@@Krish_Choudhary. what are you saying? No one is comparing Thorfinn to Canute because they're the opposite of each other, I mean it's pretty obvious. During Cnut the Great rule, Denmark was at peace and prosper, some skirmish here and there, sure, but it worked. He burdened the curse and his people didn't have to pay the price.

Canute is my most hated character, not just in VS but also in the entire anime I have seen so far. He is as disgusting as ever. This is what happens when people believe they are doing their best when it's literally the opposite, which means too much delusional thinking. That is not a curse, but he himself has become greedy over time, and yet he believes that is a curse. delusion over and over; this guy is even more terrible than his father without him noticing it. Harald was doing his best for his brother, while the brother poisoned him. What makes him more clownish than he already is that he believes that it is his job to create a heaven just for his subordinate. I can't even imagine if some of the audience would like him as a character. He is one of the most broken characters I have seen in anime.
