2014 - 2015 9th Gen Honda Civic Si HondaLink Setup Android

I couldn't find a good video on this that explained everything in detail so here's a video that should explain the whole process.
This should work on 2014-2015 Honda Civic Si's and other Honda cars around the same year that have HDMI port.
I am using a 2015 Honda Civic Si and a Samsung Galaxy S10+ for the video but this should work with S7 - S10 for Samsung and the last several HTC and Huawei phones as well. For Iphone users the setup is a lot easier than this but for android it caused me a lot of problems.
Make sure you watch near the end where I explain how to get it to work while driving not just while parked with e-brake
Let me know if you have any issues with this guide.
Also you will have to go into the secret settings menu every time you start the car again if you want to use it while driving.

My civic screen goes blank on hdmi mode when connected to my phone. Why is that

It appears that your phone might not be compatible. It isn't surprising because they don't want you to be able to do this.

Thanks, I have a Moto-G5 Plus Android phone. Do I just install the MirrorLink App on my phone and use HondaLink in my car?
