Hi Wendy, Thank you for sharing your tutorial with us I love the colour way makes me smile. Just one thing you said do a chain 3+1 and then do 8 trebles +1 ch to make a total of 9 posts, the problem I'm having is when I count back I only get 9 and 9 spaces you get 10 spaces so I added another treble+1 ch which then gives me 10 spaces can you confirm this is right please as I'm just going to start the project and I don't want to get so far in then realise its wrong after all. If I'm doing one colour do I have to slip stitch across after joining to chain three from round 3 onwards. I always find this sort of thing confusing but I'm determined to do it.
Yes, after you’ve joined to the top of the 3 chain (that represented the 1st stitch), just slip stitch across the next couple of stitches until you reach the 2 chain space. Then start the following round in the same colour. Happy crocheting Wendy 🧶
I’m using a Susan Bates, size 4 mm. I bought this one from Etsy, by a woman called “Fleabubs By Layla” as it the shaped rainbow grip handle made with fimo.. However, she’s closing, but there’s other Etsy sellers making similar designs. I hope that helps point you in the right direction. 🧶🧶
