I love seeing that transition in people! to me, it says, "I trust you enough to open up more to this person." Really, Shane, that was just incredible to see. I love this side of Bunny. I used to watch her back in the day and the larger than life persona is fun but wears thin after a while. I think i'm roughly the same age as her and I just grew out of her content, but this side of her - this extremely sweet natured, self effacing, shy, giggly little nerd I would LOVE to see more of. She seems like she's such a lovely person. Maybe I'm crazy, maybe I'm just old and can't speak for genZ but I much prefer to see real people these days over people who act like they have their shit together - the humanness and vulnerability is more relateable and appealing because really we're all just muddling through life and doing our best. I mean you can be both vulnerable and zany of course and if she feels more comfortable hiding behind a character I can understand it, but her realness and vulnerability here actually made me revisit her channel for the first time in YEARS hoping to see more like this. I started watching her back in like 2008 or something and she's the one who gave me the courage to get myself on youtube.

but in reality, I feel like Shane unintentionally exploited bunny…of course not on purpose, but she’s clearly not the type of person, looking back especially, to want to put everything personal online.. she ended up getting a lot more criticism (especially in the next video) than she did before this series…you can tell she’s nervous or maybe regrets having them meet her at her house…even whispering or feeling unprepared when they are already at her door filming immediately without any disclosures-Tough situation for sure, because where else are you supposed to meet…after agreeing to something like this-but can see how she could feel disappointed once watching these series “exposing her”….even the thumbnail to this video does more damage to her name than good…and now she always has to live with it. I’m glad she’s still being true to herself and doing what she likes despite all the unwanted feedback (after this video was released) (I don’t think that she knew that’s what she was going to sign up for)
