@@planetaryg0 hey, as someone who has battled deep depression (serious not get out of bed for 2 weeks deep). And anxiety, and BPD... You're right, it's NOT easy! I've thought at least once a day "I want to kill myself!" since I was 12. I'm 45 now, and it's only gotten worse the older I get. Even w/ the same psychiatrist for close to 15yrs, and medication, or self medicating w hard drugs. I can always put on a brave face and go out and make people think I've got it all 2gthr, when I did NOT!! I lost so many things bc of my drug addiction, from self medicating (and self-harm)! Ok God this was LONG AF!!🙄 SO I'm gonna end it here. I guess my point was... you're TOTALLY RIGHT, it is NOT EASY!

I'd looooove to see Bunny do something similar to the graveyard stuff that got her started. Giving us stories about people who are long gone, imagining what they might've been like - spending time with those no one comes to visit anymore bc those visitors are long gone, too....Talking about death, her feelings seeing certain epitaphs, causes of death and birth dates. People on Shane's channel LOVE the creepy stuff. And, with people like Ask a Mortician also being adored by us weird deathlings, someone else who's sorta in the middle, and interjects their own feelings of loneliness, or the desire to connect w/ people from another time, it's just so HUMAN. And relatable. And gets the people who DON'T naturally relate to think about their life in a whole new way.
It'd be something SHE identifies with, could open others up to her perspective on the world, and spark some real life conversations with her audience that's growing up, losing loved ones, and starting to face their own mortality more than we ever did as teens. It'd be SO great to see.

Julia V I feel like it's because her content didn't evolve much, which is the point Shane was trying to get at. She did the same few series over and over again, so you just knew what to expect with her videos. I'm sure Shane will help breathe new life into her channel with his followers, it'll just be up to her to take advantage of it and evolve to keep them watching.
she stopped appearing in my recommended to watch...honestly the only way I watch something is just because someone places it in front of me. Not Shane's or Gabbie's videos though, I am on top on anything they post.
I think the problem is she doesn't realize that this isn't a kiddy audience anymore. Not to say there aren't kids who watch youtube, because there are. But the kinds of videos she does now aren't what the youtube audience wants anymore. I think if she went back to the creepy stuff, the ghosts, the graveyards, ect she would see growth in her channel again. This new generation is all over that creepy spooky kind of stuff and if she incorporated something like that into her channel like a little series or something it would really benefit her. She changed her platform and it worked for a while but then we grew up and didn't care about if things really worked. She needs to grow with her audience. UA-cam has changed so much in the last couple years. There was less clickbait, no Paul Brothers, no fake drama...everyone did it for fun and the money came with it. Now that UA-cam’s changed the algorithms, everyone has to change their content to fit what UA-cam wants making it feel like a job and not just a hobby like it used to be.

Oh my god I’m so sad right now. In 2014 I went through one of the worst years of my life, my parents went through a terrible divorce that I was always put in the middle of. I was very depressed and never wanted to get out of bed. I found Bunny’s channel one night and they made me laugh out loud for real. My dad was so confused because nobody had heard me laugh for months. Her humour and hilarious videos are what pulled me out of my slump and made me smile again. I stopped watching over time and I feel so bad about that now. She’s the reason I was happy again and now she’s in the slump, which she doesn’t deserve. Good luck Bunny! Love you!!

I have never watched her, so I can't comment on her channel or situation specifically. What I can say is I've watched and stopped watching many UA-camrs over the years, and the reason is typically close to the same each time. Their content becomes more robotic, you can tell they're catering to UA-cam rather than their fans, they lose their spark, they drastically change their personality... Occasionally it'll be something else, like I get bored because they remanufacture the same video over and over again (not in a series,) but usually i stop watching when it's obviously become a job they don't really enjoy and don't put their heart into. It happens all the time.
Also think the fame goes to their heads, she's grown financially a lot and she deserves that but her care free self and aging sucks haha we change as we grow older. I still watch her videos. But i have definately noticed once she hit that mark bam all the new stuff, moving and her personality i can't think of a good word but you could see the differences. But i agree with you as well.

Shane is like, the man. He is SO right. Too much content is no bueno. I have watched EVERY SINGLE ONE of his videos the past couple of months just because I can’t wait for the next one to come out. Doing a “series” kind of thing is fucking genius.
I used to look forward to his videos everyday but now that he does the series, I look forward them even more than before. I love his new videos!
I think the reason older youtubers aren't doing as well as they did years ago is because of the audience change. Yah know, back in middle school and high school I would come home and watch hours of UA-cam. But now as a college student in their 20's who also works, I hardly have time to cook dinner and do my homework and stuff when I got home at 6. I don't have time to stay up until 2 am watching reviews of something I'm not gonna buy because it doesn't relate to me. It's time for the new generation of middle schooler kids and what not that watch stuff totally different than what I watched at 12. It sucks, but I guess you just have to adapt to the changing times. I loved Shane as a 14 year old and it took me 5 years to come back and see a new side of him that I fell in love with again.
Some UA-camrs have managed to succeed without changing formats too much (good mythical morning, Philip defranco and jacksfilms are a couple of examples) but I think it is about marketing yourself. Those guys all sell their brand like crazy.
And actually thinking about it, there's a few UA-camrs who have made videos like this recently and I do think it's in part because they don't think of their UA-cam channel as their business. The people who have managed to be successful over the long term are generally people who handle their channels as businesses or brands. It's great when you can make money doing what you love but it also requires constant involvement and work. A certain level of "manufacturing" is required. And I think that's important because you see a lot of UA-camrs struggle with work/life balance. UA-cam is a job. I think remembering that is important for UA-camrs to be successful and still maintain their mental health.

well i think its actually the opposite - i know what you mean but if you consider ''old youtube'' as youtube used to be and not ''old creators'', shane is just adapting to a new format youtube forces. they want long videos that are as similar to TV as possible, because that means more watch time, shane is just trying to survive while doing good noble things

One thing I notice about her is that when she's around people and showing them her things, she seems very nervous and hesitant. But like when she's by herself in front of the camera, she's like all hyperactive and very talkative.
It’s hard to connect with Bunny. I think as her viewers have gotten older, they want to CONNECT with her but she is a very private person (which is her choice!) A part of me wishes she would share more about her life, but the other part of me says she shouldn’t HAVE to be transparent for views.

Sara Neal I think that opening up and just being who she really is, good days, bad days, even manic days is important. Bringing awareness to issues that plague her viewers makes her more relatable. Depression ✔ Anxiety (both social and in general) ✔ phobias ✔ Its just real life. The world isn't all unicorns and rainbows. Sometimes its dragons and clouds of smoke and fire. I love this girl, she reminds me of my oldest daughter. I just want to hug her neck and sit in front of the tv eating ice cream and talking.

Feels like she is just trying so hard to continue doing exactly what she did, back in the day, when her channel was Sooo successful and on the rise. Like shes terrified to stray from what made her successful, because in her mind, THAT was what worked. THAT was what got her the views, the subs.
But...the audience has changed. People now enjoy watching how "the other half live". I wish she would share her success and her personal side. Her home, her cars, her relationship. I just love her and have all the feels for her after this video.

I think Bunny's issue is that she has become too reclusive. She's not interacting with real people and it's really hurting her self-esteem especially now that her internet fans are dwindling and so is the income.
Actually I use to think Shane’s content are soo mainstream and unoriginal but now his content I can really tell he is trying to make videos that no one has before and is just soo much more entertaining🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼 the only people that I really watch on UA-cam now days are Shane and buzzfeed unsolved

I've always been the one that no one wanted to be friends with...I don't understand why. I know I'm a little weird but I'm a fun loving person who has always longed for some good friends, with similar interests, to share and enjoy the good things...and bad things...in life. Now that I'm nearly 60, I've lost all hope in ever finding anyone who would spend 15 minutes with me, let alone be my friend so...I guess I'm going to die alone.

i know that this was made a couple years ago but yk im binge watching shane (as always) and coming from the gen z generation, i feel that youtubers who makes the content we watched still isnt as interesting to the new generation anymore. we all still love going back to the old videos and coming back to the great laughs and memories with the creators we love dont get me wrong. i loved bunny when i was younger, she was a huge inspiration to me, but i feel if she took a minute and did things what she loves, and she feels inspired to make, and just be herself when doing it, then people would love to watch it. people love when others be their selves. this new generation would love to watch her life and the things shes into like the haunted, creepy stuff.
I'm so glad Shane came in and got bunny to show her real life, I've always wonder why she wouldn't show her home or even talk about her self on a more personal level and finally I get to see everything about bunny she's been a fav forever and I used to ask her all the time in her comments to tell us funny stories about her life that we may not know about her and I never got that or even an answer, so like others I moved on to Morgan bc she was an DC is bringing it, and showing us all her flaws and I've never laugh so hard in along time, so thank you Shane. Wow. I actually teared up when she was talking about how she feels like no one wants to hangout with her/be her friend. I relate so much to her, and I wish she was more open. I'm not gonna lie, I haven't watched her in years, and it's like what Shane said about her channel not changing. I guess I kind of outgrew her channel, or it was repetitive, or even just because I couldn't figure her out because she hides so much. But at the same time I understand why she does that. I'm personally a really private person, and don't like to put myself out there because I have been hurt by doing so. I haven't even been on UA-cam that long but I still relate to what she said about it and just kind of loosing yourself/not knowing who you really are. I can't wait to see what comes out of this, and really hope she gets better. Not only as a creator, but just feels better mentally, because I know how important mental health is. ♡
My tip for bunny: DONT put on the act and be hyper when you ain’t - I actually find her SO interesting and unique, but her act is too much for me. But how she is in this video is someone I would 100% support. She is precious.
100% agree. i stopped watching her because she is fake as fuck in her videos... that yelling/screaming/prancing around the room schtick is so transparent, it's sad. i would venture to say the majority of the following she has left are young kids - because they don't know any better. she has an opportunity to re-capture the older audience that he has lost by just... being herself.

Check out her other channel banana peppers. She uses it as a place where she can just sit down and talk. The videos are (mostly?) unedited and she is way calmer. In one of her first videos on there, she said she just wanted a place where she could just talk and not disappoint people. It's sad she feels that way in the first place.

I love this interview with Grav3yardgirl, I saw a side to Bunny that I haven't seen for a while where she is sharing her struggles, things she is going through in her personal life I can totally relate to her because I am going through so much too. I hope Bunny shares more about herself on her channel that she feels comfortable sharing, I just want to give her a hug, she has a friend in me and It would be a dream come true to collab with Bunny but I am a nobody on UA-cam at the moment has I am just starting out. I would say to Bunny hold in there, and I feel bad that I unsubscribed back when I did because I always liked watching her channel but I was going through something in my life where I went to a really dark place and that is why I left watching UA-cam for quite a long time. I Love this video and I am going to share this I hope more people see this. 😊

"I used to watch you everyday" got me. I was a HUGE FAN of both Shane and Bunny when I was 11-15 years old. Now at 20, I recently started watching youtube again. I just got lost in my own life. Now as I'm going through a hard time, I've turned to Shane's channel again & it's just honestly giving me so much life. Thank you, Shane.

This is completely mental. I spent ages of like 10-14 watching youtube and I kinda grew away from it because I started going out and not really staying home and I only really kept on watching the beauty community occasionally. Whenever I got really down and low I went back and watched Shane because he was always one of those people who just makes you laugh. But literally for some reason everything these last few months has gone completely downhill and I'm at a proper low again and back watching Shane and I'm smiling again, able to talk to people again and I feel so much better and I honestly know its from watching Shane. He's a really inspiring person.

I was one of the people who used to watch her religiously in 2014 and I did wonder what happened to her. Shane I think this is amazing what ur doing, this is the push and the help she needed not only for her channel but for her mental health. She is such a unique and amazing personality that she deserves to make a comeback more than anybody

If you think about in Ontario Canada where I live, they say the numbers are going down, but really they aren't! They are staying in the 400's with testing less than half of what they did the previuos werk to see what would happen, and it wasn't good. Honestly, China is taking this incredibly serious in my opinion because they did a couple more thousand tests..... FOUR of them came back positive... I mean I think they did mame mistakes, thats for sure, but they redeamed themselves...
