- Twitter You Have Exceeded The Number Of Allowed Attempt to Verify Your Phone
In this video, I’ll be showing you how you can fix Twitter’s ‘You have exceeded the number of allowed attempts to verify your phone number’ issue. This short tutorial can be very helpful to anyone trying to verify their phone number on Twitter.
Twitter is an American microblogging and social networking service on which users post and interact with messages known as “tweets”. Users access Twitter through its website interface or its mobile device application.
So, to fix Twitter’s ‘You have exceeded the number of allowed attempts to verify your phone number’ issue, follow the steps mentioned below:
The first thing you’ll need to do is open a browser and then enter the URL; help.twitter.com
After you get into the website, search for ‘if the lock does not clear after an hour’, then click on ‘Help with temporary account lock out’
You’ll then be forwarded to a new page, scroll down and there will be the method mentioned about how you can fix it. Read the text and then follow the process.
If your issue continues even after following the process then click on the ‘login troubleshooting tips’ highlighted text.
Once you get there, scroll down until you find ‘contact support’ highlighted text. Click on it and you’ll be forwarded to a new page.
There, you’ll need to click on the drop-down button, and then select ‘I need to regain access to my Twitter account’
Then, on the next section, select ‘I have a problem with receiving a two-factor (2FA) verification code’, and scroll down then enter your Twitter account’s username.
Once you do that, enter the email address that you’ve access to. After that, you’ll have to write a description of your issue.
Finally, click on the ‘Submit’ button and your issue will be looked at by the Twitter Support team. You’ll be able to receive an email from them, and they’ll help you in the further processes.
After following all the steps mentioned, you’ll be able to fix Twitter’s ‘You have exceeded the number of allowed attempts to verify your phone number’ issue.
