    Hello there! Many of you seem to enjoy the occasional GX80 content so here's some more! :D
    In this session I was out shooting with the Lumix during sunset and blue hour - I hope you enjoy the behind the scenes! :)

Really love the 1st and 2nd photo and the one with the birds and with the moon above the trees ... oh yeah and your portrait shot where you were on top of that hay stack ... cool one Teo!

      Ohh nonono I'm not very fast☝🏼 I just cut a portion of the composing process out of the video, otherwise it would be 90 minutes long hahah😅😂
      For example the composition of the hay bales and me: I sat there behind the tripod for roughly 3 minutes to get it just right. And then I didn't even get it right - I had to slightly straighten the horizon in Lightroom🤦🏻‍♂️

    6:05 If I had to take a guess 🤔, I would say it is because the 50mm (100mm ff equivalent) lens renders the perspective in the image quite flat due to compression and therefore you miss a little extra "pop" in your subject like in your other shots. Otherwise, I found the orangey bits in the trees and the yellow hay bales, contrasting with the greens from the trees and the grass, to result in a very pleasing backdrop. 🤗 Maybe the image would be complete if you change the colour of your jacket in Photoshop to something more reddish, which should add some separation.

    • @teocrawford
      @teocrawford  3 роки тому

      hmm possibly, although I'm not sure if it's that, because I actually often enjoy the flat almost graphical look🤔 But thanks anyway🤗

    Hey so I'm currently studying abroad and want to get into taking pictures more and was thinking of getting a camera to take some memorable pictures, but I have no idea where to start. Ideally a camera that is good for street photography but has some versatility for studio shots as I'm a design student. Would you recommend the gx80? I'm also considering the Fuji xa5 or an old fuji x pro 1? £400 is probs the most im gonna get out of my parents 😂

    Hey Teo, Great work and learning content. 😊👍🏽 I have a question: Which cameras with flip screens are the best? Looking for one but just don't know which camera is best for photo shoots. Thought I'd ask you because your camera reviews are really realistic and authentic. Thank you 😊🙌🏼

    • @teocrawford
      @teocrawford  3 роки тому +1

      Thank you, glad you enjoyed it! :) I can't really answer your question, because there is no such thing as the "best" camera, it's all about personal preferences. I'm planning to make a video on budget cameras to get started with photography to post in January, but until then you can try to get an idea with an older video I made on the same topic: ua-cam.com/video/w5_ArCThqAM/v-deo.html&lc=Ugwdp8aaL-yYFAlCT1p4AaABAg
      This video is aimed at hybrid shooters, whereas the new one I want to make at new year is more aimed at photographers - it'll come out in about a month I think :)

    • @teocrawford
      @teocrawford  3 роки тому +3

      None of these photos were very wide angle🤔 - from the two lenses I had the wider one was the 20mm f/1.7 (FullFrame equivalent to 40mm). The other one was the Canon FD 50mm f/1.8
      If something looked wide angle it's probably because I stood quite far away from the subject🙌🏼

    Schön gechilltes Sonntags-Video 😌 und teilweise sehr gute Shots. Ich finde es super, dass du auch die nicht so perfekten Fotos zeigst. So wird vielen Anfängern mal demonstriert, dass man nicht nur Kracher-Fotos macht. Viele UA-camr machen das leider anders.
    Eine Frage habe ich: Würdest du sagen, dass solche kleinen Kameras mit größeren Objektiven bedienbar bleiben? Zb einem 7-14mm von Panasonic? Oder führt der kleine Griff da zu Problemen?

    • @teocrawford
      @teocrawford  3 роки тому +1

      Dankeschön, freut mich, dass ich ein paar Minuten deines Sonntags unterhalten konnte🙌🏼
      Jaaa das finde wichtig, obwohl auch bei mir leider oft einige schlechtere Fotos nicht ins Video kommen, weil ich sie bereits bei der Bearbeitung aussortiere oder aus zeitlichen Gründen, damit das Video nicht zu lang wird...
      Bzgl. deiner Frage: Das kommt ganz auf dich und dem was du tust an🤷🏻‍♂️ Ich hätte damit kein Problem, aber ein Street-Photographer, der diskret bleiben möchte würde wahrscheinlich was kleineres bevorzugen🤔
      Was ich aber zur GX80 spezifisch da sagen muss, ist der Griff ziemlich nutzlos. Also in finde, der bringt fast nichts, aber weil die Kamera ja so klein ist, kann sich das Panasonic leisten🤷🏻‍♂️ Bei größeren Objektiven würde ich dann halt einfach die Kamera am Objektiv halten denk ich🤔

      I have tried much more expensive grips, but this is absolutely great and light. It offers just the lack on the original camera without much weight or dimensions. I think that they are 3D printed, so if you got such a printer...
