Hey thanks man appreciate it, piece of advice I could give you is to record your flying or groundhandling as that really fast tracked my progression because I could go back to the footage & see exactly what I did wrong or how I could of better reacted to certain situations...
So good! Didn't you have a video up of you flying a mirage (15m?) at this same spot? I've been looking for it everywhere and i'm pretty sure it was on your channel. Loved that video.
Thanks man appreciate it, how I learned it was by first learning how to heli spin the glider stationary & then every time I would come in for a landing I would wait until most of the energy was gone & then spin it, as you get the timing & technique down pat then you start doing it with more energy as you come in for a landing
Felicidades fenomeno !!! Eres un crack !!! Ojala yo tuviese un profesor que me enseñase a controlar la vela la mitad de lo que lo haces tu. Eres muy grande !!!!! Un abrazo desde Valencia España muy fuerte y felices vueloooos !!!!!
What harness is this? I'm looking for a harness that's more comfortable for kiting and this style of flying where you are frequently in the upright position.
Apco hike - and man I HIGHLY recommend it! Easily one of the most comfortable harnesses i've ever used and its really easy to go from seated to standing position
I just read your comment on a video review for the gopro hero 6 where the guy who reviewed its kiting, you said you would like to start kite as well but you are in another sport. Came here to see what sport and was surprised to see you paraglide too. Wish i could live near a coastal site good for laminar ridge soaring. Your piloting skills are good! Dont be afraid to start kiting too, it wont take away your love for paragliding, you can do both. What Air Design model is that wing you fly? Later edit: nevermind the model of the wing, i have found it out through your comments!
Cheers man & yeah I think I'm gonna take up kite surfing especially since summer is starting soon down here, I actually didn't realize but the two sports actually compliment each other quite well
Yes very similar in a lot of ways, I snowkite and the similarities with paragliding are even more visible because we can actually glide down a slope. I am looking to get into paragliding also. This video reminds me of JB Chandelier's edits, same kind of relaxed vibe.
Great video, this is really my favorite type of Paragliding to watch. I'm curious does this type of flying have a name, kind of similar to what Jean Baptiste is doing. I've been Paragliding for about a year and half now and find that I almost like kitting it on the ground more than flying. How did you go about getting into this style?
Hey cheers man, maybe freestyle flying? I know in Europe/France they call this sort of flying "wagga" for some reason... Dude that is the perfect mentality to have, ground-handling will improve you paragliding by ten fold rather then just flying & not spending anytime really understanding how paragliders behave when your kiting it on the ground. I got bored quickly of just soaring side to side so I started experimenting & started flying proximity gradually
I always called this kind of paragliding "ground style", basically flying as close to the terrain as possible with lots of control and accuracy, as well as frequent top landings and slides.
Good point, no I didn't I was just training to "feel" the stall point but I should also be looking at where my hands are when it stalls... Will practice that next time thanks for the comment & advice dude
Paragliding has alot do do with how well you can predict what the glider will do in advance & how well you can interpret the pressure or the feedback that the glider is giving you... Obviously that sort of information can't be gained from just watching the handle brakes so I don't think u would gain much from that sort of footage if that makes sense
This is a 16m wing so I really like flying it in 30-35km/h wind when I'm flying at the coast/dunes. It's relatively stable flying at that sort of wind speed, maybe an occasional wing tuck here and there but nothing major like a frontal or anything like that... The more wind the more turbulence you will experience ... thanks for the comment
That's insane... It must be the 5th time I watch this... I love It so much.
You're such an inspiration, you're the reason why I fly today.
I'm digging your editing, Geti G! great music choice and mood.
Thanks man, big fan of yours and all you videos you do on flybubble channel, I think I've seen just about all of them hahah,
Just discovered your videos. Love em all! Great flying and I’ll be using you as reference as my skills improve.

Sick as bro! Thumbs up from NZ
Still one of my all-time favourite paragliding video. And in my old hometown too.
Hey congratulations, great video and top ground handling. I fly myself, I know what that means to handle the glider so well. Perfect
Wow! Excellent skills👍
Awesome flying!!!
Thanks man

love the video and great choice of music. you have a new subscriber!
Cheers man, appreciate it!
Dude u r just awesome. Can u explain a bit on how u started with that landing technique with the spin.
Thanks man appreciate it, how I learned it was by first learning how to heli spin the glider stationary & then every time I would come in for a landing I would wait until most of the energy was gone & then spin it, as you get the timing & technique down pat then you start doing it with more energy as you come in for a landing
cool video and flying !
Ground handling skill lvl: over 9000.. !!

Nothing quite like playing in your element! Great video G!
Thanks man!
Wow, 100% for Skills. Nice flying.
So awesome.
Congratulations!! I really liked it : D
Great skills. wish i lived near a beach. I could practice flying daily :(
Love this! What do you like about your Air Design glider, compared to something "more popular" like Swing or Ozone?
That's one heck of cool video man :)
Thanks dude
Great job of everything. Skills! Where are you? What beach is this?
I think this guy might be my new favorite. He's like JB meets Fritz
You just mentioned two of my favorite people in Paragliding :) Thanks man!
What harness is this? I'm looking for a harness that's more comfortable for kiting and this style of flying where you are frequently in the upright position.
Apco hike - and man I HIGHLY recommend it! Easily one of the most comfortable harnesses i've ever used and its really easy to go from seated to standing position
Hi Geti! Is this a mini wing glide? Greats and many thanks!
Looks like all traces on the sand are from you and you are familiar with every little grass over there ;) :)
Haha yeah I've gotten to know this site quite well :)

Great video as always! Nothing like home... good stall training, did you memorize where your hands are when the wing starts to drop?
Good point, no I didn't I was just training to "feel" the stall point but I should also be looking at where my hands are when it stalls...
Will practice that next time thanks for the comment & advice dude
You don't need to look at your hand, you can feel with you fingers, for example a good reference is your carabiners
Ahh ok that makes sense, gonna put that into practice
Your ground handling skills are top class! May I ask, how many years you've been paragliding?
Great Video :) Which Glider do you use? How much weight do you fly?
I weigh 70kg & glider is a airdesign susi 16m the first version not the susi 2
This hurts my heart I want to do it so
J'adore c super
you are recording very inspirational videos, i would like to see how you handle brakes. You will need Gopro Chest mount or Helmet mount .
Paragliding has alot do do with how well you can predict what the glider will do in advance & how well you can interpret the pressure or the feedback that the glider is giving you... Obviously that sort of information can't be gained from just watching the handle brakes so I don't think u would gain much from that sort of footage if that makes sense
Do you fly without Reserve? What brand and which model is your harness?
Yep when I'm flying at the coast I don't carry a reserve, harness is a "Apco HIKE Mountain Harness"
Harun Sivaslı, a reserve is pretty pointless when ridge soaring on a coast.
Hi, I enjoy watching your movies. Buddy, please, use a back protection so I can enjoy your skills for many years.
Thanks thats a good suggestion
hi , really cool video!!
how much wind do you need for that type of flying +/-?
how stable is that kind of wind?
thanks!
This is a 16m wing so I really like flying it in 30-35km/h wind when I'm flying at the coast/dunes.

Geti G thats cool 👌, I'm getting into the sport as well, and I can tell that this is one of the most inspiring videos I have seen 👌👌
It seems like your a pilot so I think you will pick it up real easy, thanks for the comment appreciate it!
Great to watch your skills. Someone is filming you or you do it all by yourself ?
Hey thanks mate, it's just me doing the filming most shots are static so I just leave the camera on the ground
wunderbar
fantastic
Thanks man!
Top
You were born with wings.
I really like this comment, thanks!
God damn dude you're a fucking artist
Yeww!! 👌
Yeeewwww
Может быть, когда небуть, и я так смогу. Но не факт, но стремится буду.
А шуршит то как?)
Класс!!!!!
