The Jason Marsalis One Man Drums Show - The One Drum Band

This comes from a livestream of the Marcus Roberts Trio. Even though technical issues early in the day threatened to affect the quality of the performance, the show went well. Marcus Roberts that I perform a solo drum piece unaccompanied during the show. It features the different timbres that can be achieved with a single snare drum, hence the title “The One Drum Band”.

Fantastic!!!!! In the tradition of Max Roach, but with your spin on the single instrument of the multiple percussion kit. Your technique and life experience shines thru this composition, (performance). I can feel the whole experience of multiple drummers of the Second Line coming from just that one drum!
