I love my 3050s. I run 2 channel for my turn table and the 3050s are amazing. I'm adding a pair of 3020s and 3010s for my 7.1 surround system. nice videos.
I've watched both your videos of the 3020 and concept 20, and I really liked them. Do you have an opinion or any experience with the newer 3020i? I'm wondering if the concept 20 is really worth the extra $200?
I suspect the improvements in the new "i" series are real but slight. As to the 3020 vs the Concept 20, the Concept 20, as you can tell from the review, really are a step above the 3020. Impressive clarity and balance. But both speakers are a bit lean on bass. But whether that matters will depend on how you use them. If these are to stand on their own as movies speakers, they will certainly do that, but you are not going to get thundering high-impact bass. However, it would be very easy to add a Subwoofer to either of the speakers even if you don't have full bassmanagement. You simply set the Sub Crossover at the natural roll-off of the speaker which is just above 60hz. That should blend them nicely. As to whether the Concept 20 are worth the extra money, only you can decide that, but I can tell you that they are impressive thrilling speakers.
That's a very personal choice, though you can't hear it on the video, the 3050 does have very good bass. But for someone looking for a more portable compact system, 3020 with a Sub should do a good job.
How would my amp sound or how would your amp sound? While mine has 120w/ch, and yours has 80wch, either one is still pretty good. I would expect the B&W CM9-S2 to sound pretty good, assuming you like the overall sound of the speaker. I've heard the CM9 several times and was very impressed, slightly on the mellow side, but very clear with good Bass, Mid, and Treble. A very nice speaker, I wish I could afford a pair.
I like the sound of the speaker but i was thinking of upgrading to a better amp? As keep hearing that the cm9s2 likes lots of power? And the rotel is meant to be a perfect match?
To each his own, but relative to other similar speakers, the Q Acoustic 3020 are on the lower price side. Q Acoustic is a very well known and regarded brand in the UK. Currently the speakers are about $289/pair on Amazon. As to the SWAN, I assume you mean the M200MKIII which are about $433 on Amazon. The Swan are Active Speakers, the Q Acoustic are Passive. Though I would expect the Swan to sound pretty good, and have additional features - SWAN - www.amazon.com/Swan-Speakers-M200MKIII-Bookshelf-Long-Throw/dp/B001GIOFTM Q Acoustic - www.amazon.com/Acoustics-Bookshelf-Speakers-American-Walnut/dp/B00TR7JK7Q Personally in Active Speakers in that price range, I would consider - Edifier S2000PRO - $399/pr - www.amazon.com/Edifier-S2000pro-Bluetooth-Bookshelf-Speakers/dp/B0725GZQFZ Here is a video comparing the two speakers, and there are additional video demonstrating both speakers on the same channel - ua-cam.com/video/1YFIMME0j0Q/v-deo.html ua-cam.com/video/YcHjL6H_xWk/v-deo.html ua-cam.com/video/jB1MXGj91Hs/v-deo.html

Hi, I have an Onkyo A-9130, what do you recommend between the elac debut b5.2 and the q acoustic 3020i?
Difficult to say, both are good speakers, but the ELAC B5.2 has deeper bass response if that means anything to you.
@@blueboyblue thank's!

@@blueboyblue thank you! Yes, I'm planning on an svs pb 1000 as an addition. Your insight has been helpful!
these sound more clear than the 3050s. maybe with a sub they would be better than the 3050

how will this amp sound with b&w cm9s2?
I'm currently running a Cambridge CXA 80

This brand sounds impressive but the price seems too steep as they are fairly unknown by me and the swan m2000mkiii is only $130 more.
