Beautiful. Amazing how he doesn’t even seem like he’s looking at the ball near the point of contact on the forehand. I wish I could be 10% as precise as this.
I think the behind angle is much better to see ball-striking, but this video is perfect to show pristine footwork. Jannik has some of the best footwork ever, and it's less dynamic than players like Fed/Alcaraz, so it's easier to show to people as a paradigm.
I admire Sinner but I agree that his tennis could be more varied. Anyhow, it will probably come with time and experience ( more short drops, more volleys, etc.). He also needs to improve his first serve.
There’s not much hip hinge action on his ground strokes for the racquet head speed he generates than you would have expected. Sort of just sits there with Anterior Pelvic Tilt
They have a very similar grip. I think Sinner uses more wrist whip though. So his shots look like they hit harder but timing will be more difficult in comparison. Also harder to perform accurately.
@@haiwong8999 no... Carlos has a very different style. His forehand he hits with a straight elbow like Federer. Jannick is very similar to Novak both in hitting style and the way they play from the baseline and refuse to give their opponents time by not retreating regardless of his deep the ball is
I think those who think tennis players are tightrope walkers in the equestrian circus have no idea what tennis is. The Harlem Globetrotters were tightrope walkers in basketball but they would never have won against a NBA team.
Yeah, lacks charisma just a nice guy who absolutely kills the ball and surgically beats his opponent. He is going to be #1 for a long time barring injury.
@@user-cq2pj5ye9p agreed. sinner, Zverev, the rest…if they stood at the baseline and hit next to each other I would not be able to tell them apart. Not a knock on their game or abilities - they all just seem generic.
Sinner is amazing but his strokes don't look as clean as I expected them to up close. His forehand looks jerky. I thought he extended out more through the ball. His backhand is a spectacular shot but even that looks unspectacular up close. Compare his strokes to Federer or Dmitrov. Both their strokes look so much cleaner.

While she should have NEVER been banned, her case was not identical to Sinner's. For one, she didn't realize the source of contamination right away and couldn't file it in an immediate appeal like Sinner's team did. Second, the level in her system was above the performance-enhancing threshold. The level in Sinner's wasn't. Also worth noting is that the mode of contamination was different, and may have lent itself to different conclusions with regard to responsibility/negligence. Again, though, despite the difference in circumstances, I think she should never have been banned. She got screwed.
There are only two types of tennis players in the world now, one is Alcaraz and the other is others, and Alcaraz is art and the others are boring. The most boring one among them is Jannik Sinner, who is like a physical serving machine.

Well u can’t cuz u suck
The amazing thing is he is still using the Nike Vapor Zoom Zero HC Shoes. Those are 2019 model. The most comfortable tennis shoes ever.
Perfection

The way he instinctively can predict where the ball will be and hit it on the rise so accurately is phenomenal.

I think those would just be spices to his game. The protein is all there already. He’ll never be Alcaraz.
Crazy how well he can relax his right arm. It's like his bones are rubber.
So clean indeed !
Every sinner can get clean!!!
That sound when the racket hits the ball...
Basically berdych if he was lighter and a better mover
Agreed. A lot of pretty closed stance forehands
Good eye, Kingston.
Sinner has much higher topspin rates than Berdych. He gets a lot of spin on his FH even when he hits it very fast.
@@CJZM7777Berdych definitely hit harder.
Except byrdych was a totally d-bag
Pure sound
¿Qué decir de él no? Un lírico total. Te hace disfrutar cuando lo ves por la tele. ¿Será el mejor jugador italiano de la historia?🥎🤔

Nole said sinners play like him
Nole the goat ❤ congrats Sinner 🏆

Nole also associated himself with Carlo when Carlos won his title..

Nah the only thing similar between the two of them is only their racket.
Ppl here comparing players as if they can stand in a court for hours and play. Get a grip
If works on serve I mean he and alcaraz.. no one in modern era can beat them
One thing ams can take away is how the ball always stays in front
This dude is water

I find his game a bit boring to watch but he is without a doubt a tremendous ballstriker

Agree. Impressive elastic limbs 😂
I think not just of him. In fact almost all active players are bored to watch except Alcaraz

Cleaner than his blood!
Nahhhhhh

Federer hits it better.
I don't find his strokes attractive at all. All of the super tall guys seem awkward. People like Nadal, Federer, Ruud, Alcaraz are a joy to watch.
No.1 in men's tennis and the first No.1 to be caught doping.😊
