Brave man, I took a friend out, he said he knew how to shift but he was use to shifting a bike and did not quite understand feathering a clutch he would just pop the clutch . He wound up breaking a tooth on the cluster gear and splitting the transmission case.
Hi Matteo! Good for you sharing your Model A with your Mom and your Friends! Way, way, way back when I was in high school, a friend had a 1928 or 29 Ford Pickup truck and he let me drive it. It's one of the reasons I have a love for the Model A Ford to this day. Good job on passing on the Model A to your generation!
Hey Matteo yes indeed dooing such a charming great job to inspired invade your teenage friends of the most beautiful incredible car, keep going Matteo sadly I never drove such a wonderful. Sincerly Jürgen 🎉😅😅 from germa😂😅🎉🎉
Hey Matteo: My wife & I saw you with your father at Gilmore's last Sept.. I didn't realize until you were featured in the event's newsletter that you were the new proud owner of Mr. Ford's new, improved "Model A!" I noticed the shirt, as well, thinking that "Helen" was was your mother or girlfriend. I've enjoyed your Model A clips, of which you do a great job of simple, enjoyable explanations of Model A ownership. I haven't seen any, lately, and wondered whether you've decided to stop or that "Helen" is just enjoying a winter hibernation? Hope to see you at next year's Gilmore event! Dale R. @@matteo-r07 Thanks for the speedy reply! With all of the "more important" things going on in your life, Helen can wait ! I was just checking that everything was alright. I've got a gazillion questions that I'd prefer to send directly to you without youtube publicity. Facebook or email? Dale R.
@@matteo-r07 A man of his word. Another good production of Helen and Matteo's enjoyable & learning experience together! A helpful comment: When the video is being filmed in front/side/back, the mic is not pointed at you and with the engine noise, it's hard to hear your comments. No problem when pointed directly at you, though! Thanks and Merry Christmas & Happy New Year to you and your family! Dale R.
Heyyyyy. You’re doing great Matteo..! And being a wonderful “teacher”. When I get out your way again I’d Love to hang out and say hey if that would be ok with you….
Hey Matteo! Tomorrow, November 15th in the am I have my video posting from Model A Days 2024 that has you as my star! Hope you enjoy it and I put a link to your channel in the description also 💗 I hope you and your family are doing well!

Hi Dale! I have been busy with school, work, and working on "Helen" so that's why you have not seen any videos lately. I may post one today.

@@Modeltshinn That’s great, thank you so much! We are well, best wishes to you and Paul.
You don’t even need to double clutch just wait for the RPMs to drop and shift it slowly she’ll slide in without grinding
Yep!
I’m 47. I learned how to drive stick when I was 9 years old on a Model A
