LOVE YOUR VIDEOS BRO! I just got a Switch Oled bundle and I am 20 hours into BOTW for the first time. Hope I can beat it before the new one comes out haha. I also have Donkey Kong Tropical Freeze but havent played it. For my next game (besides Tears of the Kingdom) should I go with Mario+Rabbids 1 or 2? Links Awakening? Super Mario Odyssey? Have a Nice Death? Xenoblade chronicals (which one of these is the best?) ... What do I get next!?! I dont know... Please help. What do you suggest? I have never owned a handheld or nintendo since I owned a SNES about 28-30 years ago or so.

I would really like to see transparent controllers that have a gradient. The most possible one would be transulent blue fading to a frosty translucent light blue. However the one I'd LOVE to see is the color fading in from the inside, to making it look like water and have a sort of infinite depth look.

I would love to see more options like that.
A little note after a few months of use. Be very careful with them when you travel. I bought them with a protective case where it fits. And I accidentally dropped it out of a bag (probably a 50 cm drop) while they were attached and now they constantly disconnect while using them. They still work as a reasonable pro controller replacement. But if you buy them and travel with them ALWAYS keep them disconnected when travelling so you don't risk connection issues.

I wish they'd add weights, like the little ones that come with gaming mice. At least if you're playing in tabletop mode. They can easily add a weight compartment to the center piece.

I just got my hyperions after using the Hori split pads for a while. I really like them but I gotta be honest, I kinda like the placement of the right stick better on the horis. To me they put the stick on the right joycon a little bit too low for my taste. I also would like them more if they were slightly less bulky because I can’t connect a USB to charge my pro controller to my switch while the switch is docked with the hyxis. However, everything else feels perfect. I can’t decide which ones feel better between these and the horis. All I know is that the most comfortable grip I’ve ever used is the cheap Satisfy grip.

Just received mine a few days ago. Build quality is way better compared to the previous model. My only problem are the back buttons. Too stiff

I just got mine today and my only issue with it at the moment is the left joy-con feels loose, by that I mean it wiggles when in and out when attached to the switch but besides that I absolutely love it the RGB and ergonomic feel of it!

I just got mine today and it wiggles a little as well, which is bothering but they look so cool lol
put some tiny stripes of tape to make a bit thicker on the side where it sliedes on the switch. It has fix all my loose joycons!

Hey Andy, so i just emailed MicroMedia in the Netherlands about the "Under Control" controllers. Got their info from an retailer, so it was a bit of a hunt. But hopefully they respond with more info or they can send you some test material.

I bought these about a month ago. I have an issue with the Hori licensed Nintendo controllers. The L1 and R1 stick and won't release. I haven't opened them. I'm trying to decide if I should give them as a gift. This helps. THANKS!

I love these joycons but they only last about 7months just long enough for the warranty to run out and you have to by another pair
These are great joycons my cons is the the right joycon. Pressing the button ain't snappy like the d pad. But that just me. But they're great joycons nothingless. And those clicky triggers. Is just 👍 👌 chefs kiss

I wanted the clear ones but it looked like the back has no grip texture. Since I have sweaty hands I was worried I would lose my grip and drop my switch.

Did they fix the sticks? The original's sticks always felt super cheap to me, particularly when using L3/R3. The stick click was way too hard to press, and made a horrible loud click when pressed originally when clicked and I'm wondering if they altered the sticks in any way. The caps are also just a hard plastic rather than a nicer rubber of some kind, those unfortunately look the same though.
I do hope it's been updated because that was really my only complaint left with their joycons.
I have these transparent Hyperion joy-pads and I'd say they definitely feel like a hard plastic more than a soft rubber, but with how fast past controllers of mine have had issues of the rubber getting worn out I definitely prefer the more durable plastic.
For the record no they didn’t change them. I get what you mean it’s an awful crunchy feeling when using l3/r3. Plus the quite large deadzone. Not sure what the first guy was talking about 💀
@@PuddingTaToRnAtOr if you're talking about me I just said how they felt (a harder plastic, which is what they said they disliked). Didn't really touch on how they functioned. The L3R3 click is what I'm personally used to, and my pair has a pretty standard deadzone. All-around nothing that sticks out a ton good or bad. The one gripe I do have with the sticks is axis sticking, which Switch calibration doesn't address. Doesn't really affect me, I just play Pokémon 🤷♂️

How do you have the runner lights on but the ring lights off? Also, is there a dimmer mode? I love color but my light sensitivity can be quite severe at times and these lights are quite bright.
Mine just doesn't have LEDs around the joysticks, no idea why

Okay but where am I going to get a good controller with gyro AND a good d-pad? I know the retroflag's dpad is good but since I have zero game cube nostalgia, I find that controller horrendous.

I did the firmware update on mine to 1.38 and now the analog sticks are swapped sides, which means when you press them up they go down and if you press left they go right and vice versa. Does anyone else have this problem? And is there a solution for this?

Can anyone tell me are there any deadzones with NYXI (hyperions or standard)? I own binboks and the deadzones across the straight x and y axis are really bad. They are so bad i’m considering buying other joy cons and the NYXI hyperions look like what I want. Thank you for the info!
I haven't reviewed them yet so haven't tested fully but I'd say there is some deadzone, ideally you want to go for the HORI which are the best currently for no deadzone OR get something with Hall Effect joysticks as those have almost zero deadzone too.

@@128KB Thank you so much for the reply and suggestions!! I’ll keep researching, right now the Hori SPP’s look nice! I’ve been eyeing the Retroflag grip and the NYXI Wizard as well for their Hall sensor sticks (0% drift and no deadzones are pretty enticing), so much good stuff out there!

I'd go for whichever works out cheapest for you/which design you like best. They're both good
I'm still quite unsure I've seen a few reviews on nyxi and most have stated the hyperions being better than the athenas, binboks and the athenas being awfully similar if they have the same build quality i think id be leaning more towards the hyperions

I hope NYXI makes a Hyperion Joypad with the Hall Sensor Sticks. At this point Nintendo has no excuse. When companies like NYXI and 8Bitdo use them, and sell the end product at a comparable price, that’s just sad

The Dreamcast had hall sensors in its controllers way back in 1999 and that never compelled Nintendo to do the same. Don't see why now would be any different.

These are a bit bigger with more grip I'd say, smaller hands will prefer the compacts

Depends, Hori has more accurate sticks and better build quality I'd argue but these are wireless with more features

Kind of.. they share the same manufacturer, but Binbok doesn't have the Hyperion.. yet their joy-cons are made in the same factory but they just slap their own brand on them.

@@capt.shiner The Nyxi Hyperion joy-cons are about 2.5 millimeters wider than the original BinBok/NYXI joy-cons. So because you claim you have larger hands and the Hyperion has enhanced comfort and easier control, I would recommend getting the Hyperion.

I bought this one... but is not so good... D-PAD is TERRIBLE, sometimes both disconnect from switch, the sticks aren't precise... HORI are slightly better

This review just makes zero sense. There's no info on accuracy and functionally for split hand motion control. Which is commonly used for shooters like Splatoon, fitness, and other motion control games. Like how it compares to stock Joycons when it comes to motion control while playing split handed - each side held in separate hands.
