Bushcraft at Skull Camp - Part 2 - Solo Tarp Shelter - Primitive Stone Fireplace Breakfast

- It was quite windy, but the shelter was well protected all night. After getting a fire going, I enjoy coffee and a mountain breakfast cooked on the hot coals. Some big gusts of wind roared through the trees, however, the air was calm in camp. I will make this a base camp for future outings. This trip was too short, but with high wind warnings in effect, I will plan to come back to this camp in the near future.

Thank you for watching, friends. I hope you are all well, and in good spirits. Peace, health, and happy trails! -Kevin
So good! Thanks for taking us along.
Look at Ol’ Tig’s tail go!! That is awesome and glad to hear you’ll more than likely be back to this place. Looks like an awesome spot and great job on setting the camp up.
No finer way to start the day than a breakfast like that. Swear I could smell it cookin'!
Tig is such a great companion.
Skull Camp is a little piece of heaven. Great vid Kevin. Thanks for taking us along!
Howdy Pinepuppy. Camp cooking always seems to smell better, for some reason. At least that's what Tig was sayin'!
I love both of the videos, Kevin! Harold sure would have loved them too! Hugs and love to you, Sarah & Tig!
Somehow I feel like Harold is really never far away. I sure miss the old guy. Big hugs to you!
Great spot. Love the fireplace.
Glad you enjoyed it. You're welcome here anytime.
Absolutely gorgeous work my friend 👏👏
Thank you. Hope to see you around. I love your channel.
Having fun I see.
Really great spot for a base camp Kev. Couldn’t ask for a better fireplace and sure couldn’t ask for a better companion. Heck I’d shake my ears for some of that bacon too! Great to have you back brother and God bless you.
Howdy Shane! Hey, you start flappin' them ears, and I'll find a way to get you some of that bacon. Great to hear from you, too. Many blessings, brother. Stay well!
Relaxing and enjoyable, dialogue relates to the environment. Who needs background music?
What a great little adventure Kevin. I’m not sure how well Bodhi would do sleeping in a tarp shelter out in the wild but I hope to find out this summer. I suspect he will be barking at every creaking branch and howling coyote but we’ll see. Enjoyed coming along with you and Tig. Such a good pup and really enjoyed the breakfast treat. Tail just a wagging.
Howdy Don. With the wind blowing most of the time, we didn't hear 1 'yote. Probably a good thing, because Tig doesn't care for the crazy yipping and howling! We had such a quiet night, except for the wind. I think all the critters were holing up.
Good to see part 2 and I concur with the onion advice. I’m originally from South Louisiana and every dish starts with onions.
Howdy, Eric. Those onions are yellow Spanish variety from our garden. They pack a whollop that might even make a cajun cry uncle! Thanks for watching, and good luck with your hatchet collection!
