Join me on my ARK Survival Ascended playthrough as we travel throughout all of the ARK Survival Ascended maps in our gameplay journey to tame new creatures that will join us on our adventure, explore the hidden treasures of the ARKs & to take on the bosses that guard them. There are many different maps that will release in ARK Survival Ascended that mirror their older counterparts from ARK Survival Evolved including this one, ARK The Center Ascended!
It will be an exciting journey to see ARK The Center Ascended in an upgraded graphical state from what it was as ARK The Center Evolved using the new Unreal Engine. We will be doing some vanilla ARK Survival Ascended gameplay as well as modded ARK Survival Ascended gameplay throughout our journey as well as a ton of base building so sit back, relax & join me on our journey in our ARK The Center Ascended gameplay!

The Center is a free add-on for ARK: Survival Ascended that includes a massive new map for survivors to explore, nearly double the size of the playable geography of the standard ARK Island landscape making it about 70 sq. kilometers. The Center complements the current ARK biomes with a rich, hand-drawn Tolkien-esque aesthetic. Filled with stunning lighting effects, lava rivers, giant picturesque mountains, misty floating islands, ancient underground ice caves, and more

Alright! So, decor box. It's a bit tediously awesome. You have to get the cosmetics from the mod list tab. Under browse mods, go all the way down to the official custom cosmetics and install them. The decor box is for structures, like for hanging a sword on the wall, etc.
It'll take a bit of figuring it out but that's how it works.
Ahhh gotcha. Well i'll just let it sit until I start using mods and will revisit it then
Understood. The three primary ones were created by Wildcard for the game. All the others are independent mod creators. I only installed Wildcard's and of those I only use the glass windows, which are worth it.
Gotta say man, the paint really gives dimension to your base. Really nice.
Breaks up the all wood look without being too much

Man with a base like this you could just sit outside in the yard with a view of the land and base and just chill man how do you even go anywhere lol always would want to be at base

I used some of the WC Mickey Mouse mod decoration skins with the decor box. There is a nicer couch and armchair for example that I liked and a small round glass table etc that looks realistic not cartoonish :)
Btw they added the pyromanes for you man so you can do the tek cave with 49 of them plus a yuty with no problems.. they walk on lava man!!! Its made for it you can get 40+ of them all the way to the boss with zero to very little problems

You really need to check out Aaron Longstaff's decor mod, it has everything
I know Aaron and about his mod however I am not using mods until they get the crashing sorted and updates always breaking mods. It's on my list to check out once all that is sorted
I like using ramps for my outdoor overhangs because it's not such a steep pitch like the roofs are. Only problem is the top doesn't look like the rest of the roof
Yea the angle is better but the texture never looked right to me for a roof
im a animal lover and your mean to my favorite bird in ark how dare you. LOL J/k but it is my favorite flyer :P you could replace the full wall with quarter walls for the so called canopy 4 quarter walls to 1 full wall and that willl give you snap points where you were trying to snap to. great vid
The little over hang looks nice so will probably just leave it as it for now
The box is pretty much decoration only. Three different sizes, if I recall
Base looks fantastic, shame about the snow inside, but thats ark for ya. Cant wait for wingman, be cool if they added sinos to the center, so we dont have to wait for lost island

That's funny.... i've built in the same place and my base is snow free. It is snowing all the time, but the building is snow free. Why is that?

Nope, snow still shows in my bases, though I'm not on Center yet. I'm on console.
