I think it may be the best “circle” workshop you’ve made. I REALLY dig those windows! This is a badass idea… and also definitely your biggest water pen base I’ve seen you build. I’m loving this idea… also leave the scaffolding at the top 👍🏻👍🏻

In your current workshop area, you could place the Dino Depot terminal ON TOP of the Dinoball Storage Box, and then place the generator where the Dino Depot terminal currently is. just a suggestion. Love the videos btw, Syntac. #1 Ark channel imo
Hey if you guys add "No untameables" the ammonites create a camouflage field in the radial that hides tamed aquatic creatures from wilds! If you scatter them in the pen you won't have to deal with the creature spawns as they'll be passive till provoked. It gives a mini or major tlc to the following creatures. Titanomyrma Meganuera Ammonite Leedsicthys Cnidaria Eurypterid The wiki page for it has everything you need to know. It seems small but it makes the entire experience more interesting. If you also want a more lively ocean check out the sunken world additions. I've genuinely never had so much fun in the ocean of thr ark.
Did you ever consider using the visual storage mod. Personally its one of the most fun mods i found. It really gives you a feeling of having the resources and seeing them. Also gives you a reason to build a storage building
I would replace the outer layer of glass in the dome with some sort of ceiling tiles while still keeping the scaffolding and glass in the very center. Would let in light while not being blocked/overshadowed by the scaffolding 22:02
I love your building episodes. You have such great visions. Honestly, put a railing around the roof and make a few ceilings into hatchframes so you can use the roof as an aviary. I know you have a Dino storage mod, but actually having an aviary and using the roof will make the base feel more lived in

I can't attest for unofficial servers but wind turbines work on the center on the single player even though there are no wind markers. Comes in handy with not having constant gasoline.
You should do wood pillars around the outside lip of the overhang instead of stone. Would just help frame the building more in different texture. You do stone/wood on everything and just all stone on the over hang
I am glad you backtracked and took off the frontier skin for around the window framing. It makes the window pop more with the cool triangle design with the usual stone instead. I flinched a little when you first put the frontier skin on that part and seemingly liked it better at first lol.
A decent idea for better utilization of space might be to add a small platform in the middle of the dome building that's one tile up and then have that lead up to a ring of platforms along the outer wall that lines up with the top of the gateways. If built right, it shouldn't make it feel all that claustrophobic and would leave you more room to place things. If you build the center platform the right size, you might even be able to drop the industrial forge there when you can afford to build it as well. Edit: With the changes you made, if you did go with my idea, you could also replace one of those full windows you made with a doorway so you could use that outer ring on the roof as a balcony too.
I am so glad to have learned building from you! All of your builds look amazing and with such nice attention to design and detail. I learned how to build the circular structures from you and currently use them in ARK Evolved as my pc cant run ASA, but I cant wait till I get my upgraded pc, hopefully it will be able to run it and ill get to make nice designs like you :] You should readd those corner pieces above the top windows and then maybe use the railings to connect it all? I think it looks really nice having the overhangs above the windows kinda like a protector from rain in a sense.
This build looks so nice. The combination of ASA building and the Bob's tall tales pack gives us building options that we could never get on the original game

In model making the word for adding the little extra detail bits to give something a more authentic/complex look is "greebling." And the individual item added would be called a "greeble"
Build looks good. Regarding the scaffolding: I feel like it would look cleaner with the scaffolding only on every other roof section instead of every one. Looking forward to more!
Hey there is a mod, that has a old pizza fire oven looking forge, and it's in between the smelting rate of the industrial forge and the regular forge. It's only slightly bigger than a regular forge but it looks great too! Rr building structures, I think if you want to check it out! Love the builds and the series though!
Maybe you could make the inside railings/“supports” a single line up, and then add some railing/“supports” outside under the lip of the roof. Similarly add railing/“supports” where the beams meet the overhang- kind of like a nice looking gazebo :)
With the last scaffolding piece it looked like a focusing thingy for a giant laser canon, he should totally built a turret looking up through the glass roof
The circular windows with the diamond outside give me massive Caesar's room vibes from Rise of the Planet of the Apes (even though in that movie the diamond is inside the window)
A couple of mods that I think will really add to and spice up your building that I love and keep on every map now are primitive structures, and visual storage. They have really amazing looking alternatives to the vanilla forge, chem bench, vault, fridge, etc. I think you’d love those!

Very cool window ideas! I also think you should keep them the way you have it, stone around the diamond shape. For the wooden supports just remove every other one and it won’t be so busy
Awesome design brother the way you did the triangle roundy windows building from the top down and leaving the stone really makes them stand out! Reminds me of a DaVinci workshop❤❤❤
One thought I had for the generator/storage is if it fits, you could build a scaffold in the middle with some ramps and put storage units on top and then have the generator underneath which can be accessed between some gaps.
if I could make a suggestion for the water pen walls- pillars. it keeps all the big stuff out if you do them vertical & horizontal and looks like a neat stone cage all the way around. I did that once and it looked nice. only the little fish could get through.. though jellyfish might be able to as well, I'm not sure.
Near the end, the pointed jaggy bits remind me of the evil temple in the game Black & White. lol Would be cool if it was extended to be more like that tbh.
I would suggest to divide your future ocean wall/water pen into two compartments. Leave a gap in the nearest edge to the redwood biome. I think it would make the water area there more open and could make a great place to build a bridge there.
Maybe if stuff spawns in the water pen, just breed a pack of Xiphactinus and put them on neutral/aggressive? It doesn't look big enough for anything they cant handle to spawn
I think it would look fun to build some guard towers around the inner foundation circle. Would really look like a fort. Although it would be of no particular use, so idk

The reworked build looks so much better. 😂 I think removing scaffolding pieces that are in front the actual window pieces,would look a bit better so it doesn’t block the windows on the inside.
I actually liked the bits over the windows because it added just a bit more depth to the design, but maybe move the railings to the very ends instead of leaving them in the middle, if that makes sense? It looked off with the railings cutting through the middle but I think it would work if you brought them to the edge and framed the overhangs. My intrusive thoughts anyway. The build looks awesome as a whole, though!

If you want smaller structures DAG structures has variants of each one to make them smaller, but they do have increased crafting speed but might be configureable. Also if you’re going to store your materials in a different building there’s the Pull it mod that’s basically s+ pulling with a 25 foundation range and is configurable
At least for now I would add a small balcony around the top of the workshop and have storage in a ring. Just until you decide on what you actually want to do with it

Syntac make use of the wind turbine for power, no need for gas! Plus it has a massive range compared to the generator.

Impressive build - your "tower" has echoes of a Cathedral's - Reminds me of Ely's but with an added skylight in the centre. Superb!
