Mr. Leonard Cohen & Friends: So Long Marianne captured by: Anthony M. Tooton

Finally... while sifting through some of my archives I found a full-rez version of the Master: Leonard Cohen performing his impromptu performance of his classic: So Long Marianne, when Heather Reisman (owner of Indigo Books) closed down half of Bay St., in Toronto. I had been tipped by a certain somebody, the night before.. Also performing with Mr. Cohen are Musical Director: Terence Gowan, Ron Sexsmith, Stephen Page, and Tim Bovaconti. For the reocrd, I was holding the Panasonic DVX 100a, on a tripod, above my shoulders to try and avoid getting hit in the back, as I was filming. The energy was eclectic and electric. Heather Reisman (Owner of Indigo) had half of Bay St. shut down for the event (which was initially a book signing) and then probably close to 5K people quickly swarmed to hear the master. Unfortunately, the audio here, is not that good, but ya do what ya can! Thank you and please enjoy, Anthony
