Can you do some tours of 100-250 People churches with a smaller budget? A thousand seat church with multiple services is fun to watch but I can't take my budget for three years and buy one moving light...
I'd love to see that too
I see no lies!
Most churches in North America are 100-250 people... so... good idea!
Yes, make a tour for a smaller church that has a smaller budget.
Very good recommendation.
I personally think the Grand MA2 On Pc Command wing is very good for volunteers. At my church we have the actual production manager program cues for songs and then volunteers execute the cues along with the music.
OK. The tip about matching lighting presets to number on backgrounds is GOLD!!!!!
Jake, these videos are so helpful. Great job, thanks!
Love these tours. Learn alot and get some good ideas
Beautiful space and use of tech!
Those racks could use some wire management so the cables run up and down the sides. Provides strain relief too.
Killer setup 🤘🏻 Love the simplicity! Thanks for continuing to cover the worship excellence that's happening up in ya'lls neck of the woods!
Good video, it helps me a lot to bring new ideas to our church
Keep it going! Very helpful tips
I am from Iraq and I work in the same field. I wish you success
Nice setup.. I hope we can have it someday here in the Philippines...
Thanks for the Rupert Neve DI recommendation -- just ordered one to try for our electric guitars and bass.
Need churchfront tours for South Africa!
Yeah!!
UA-cam doesn’t pay us anything for our views or subscribers in Africa! I’ve spoken with the corporate heads at Google. There isn’t any money to support creating video content for any parts of Africa, unfortunately! 🤷🏽♂️ I made a video exclusively for Nigeria Worship and was paid $1.27 from Google for a video that cost us over $500 to create!!! 😳🤯
That would be awesome.
@@prettysimplemusic this is insane. I think it’s something the community on our side can take up to the Google execs
Explanation on how dante enables them to add EQ to their ears without affecting the main mix!? I've never seen that. I've always seen having a IEM board but never being able to have EQ on their ears without affecting the master via an app!
You should do a tech tour video of Word of Life Christian Center in Lone Tree, CO. They are an excellent church lead by Pastor Dr. Timothy Bagwell.
After watching the previous two streams from Storyline I’m going to respectfully disagree with him about Waves Tune not making a difference. That’s not to say those singers aren’t gifted but very few people have perfect pitch much less vocal teams of three or four together.
This was an excellent tech tour! As an Avantis user, it was great to see how other people use theirs. Such a powerful console. I highly suggest the Deep Pack Plugins for anyone considering the Avantis. The DYN8 is unreal, tube pres, and now the newest firmware has added RTA, a few expanders, and some cool new bus compressors.
I can't wait to highlight v1.2 for the Avantis - such a great upgrade.
Great video!
Can you do a video on led wall. Explaining how they work and what are good brands?
YES timestamps, thanks for making the improvement
THANK YOU
Please, could you help with the Church Designer Firm, the Multmedia and the Lighting Designer Firms. Nice video sir
Dear stage is cleaner than my house.
TNice tutorials was easy to follow.
The avantis is sooo nice
RNDI is a game changer
all workеd baby
Very nice video and you sorted the focus as well! ;)
Whats the make and model of those front lights?
A 609 as an Mono Overhead? Seriously? However i do get why you went away from the MA2. Its definetly not that volunteer friendly. I would suggest to engage the Pad on the Shotgun Mics if they are overloading. I like large Diaphrame Overheads on Drums. The AKG C214 are a great Budget Option. You will be surprised how good they sound in comparison to the 609. You should definetly go stereo on Overheads, they are the most important mics on the drums😉.
Lol that 609 didn’t last long haha
We actually just got the AKG C214 and love them!
Hi whats the setup for Bass thank you Sir
Hi, What model and brand are the moving heads that you have on the stage floor?
Hey, I am a pastor in Montrose, CO that is looking to get some cameras for live stream. When you upgrade from these, I would like to have a conversation with you on purchasing your old ones. let me know if that is possible! Thanks!
This place souds like a sound stage... this is crazy...
Os vídeos são demais.
Mas uma observação, poderiam botar legendas em português.
what size LED?
shalom, sorry to ask, what is the size of the church building
Sorry and your setup for Guitar
Where did you guys order your drum shield from ?
Qsc amps?
Did I miss it, or did we skip the stream mix? I'm guessing they take a feed from FOH as I didn't see a DAW mixing area.
using a matrix out of FOH with some Waves processing. No DAW broadcast mix at this point. It's on the list though for sure
I was also going to ask. I did listen to a couple services and thought something was up, i record our practice night and virtual sound check Sunday morning to fine tune the online mix. We get a lot out of our X32. I should do a walk through for folks on how to do a one man FoH and Broadcast setup on the commonly used X32.
Great tour, as always! But the over de-essing on this vid actually makes it difficult to listen to, and is distracting.
What’s the name of that Bass DI?
I believe it's the Rupert Neve RNDI.
“before I got hired”
what is that martin key light?
Yea
Maybe the Martin RUSH MH 6 Wash CT
👍
How much does a set up like this cost?
hundreds of thousands
@@thehodgi1 more like millions
why on earth would anyone go from ma to light key
Watch the video and listen. He literally tells you why they switched.
I definetly get why. I am a MA2 Guy but i wouldnt expect a volunteer to be able to operate it.
What does Jesus Christ think about all this? Herod would do this.
It’s all about the narcissistic wannabe’s wishing they were out mixing Journey concerts. Let’s hear the message.
It's almost a law that the more technology a church uses, the more worldly and apostate they are.
To much digital!! What happened to the pure Live Sound experience having Amps on stage and having drums without some sort of plexiglass surrounding it.. why are churches these days trying to be hip and cool and trying to be that one church that has the best DIGITAL Technology and show it off on social media, who worships the best etc!! why are churches afraid of some stage presence and don't say its because "its to loud" cause that's bull!! lol cause if you have a good sound engineer/system you can always adjust that without a promblem.. I just think that's the trend these day to have everything go through the main system.... Remember you shouldn't treat live sound likes its a studio session! and let the people feel like its a live concert, a live worship concert but I guess at the end of the day to each their own. I'd say to all the volunteers bring your amps I know you have that fav amp you like play through ;) all they got to do is mic it with that e609 ;) lol
Churches have no business spending this kind of money on av equipment, if you want to start a venue for Christian rock bands then do that, but this kind of money should be going to helping their community.
do you really think this is what Jesus was on about? Seriously?
