Personally I think they should at least try and see what Samsung's estimate could be for a fix. Might not be as expensive as buying a new phone.
The repair is gonna cost at least 300 USD. If the display changes are required then it makes zero sense to repair.
I think its for me normal to buy a case for it before I use it.If you dont take care your phone,then thats what happens.I have the flip 6 and take good care of it.Even my phonrs fromb10 years aho still look new.
