I was surprised to hear about the water splashing onto your balcony. It must have been a bit of a shock the first time it happened. Looking forward to seeing more reviews of your cruise.
Great review thank you ❤️ we will be sailing the Med 14 nights in May 2024 so looking forward to it. We will be in the room above yours (14-745) and directly below the pool. Looking forward to great sunsets and chilled out music but worried about the pool above. We sail when it will be one week kids school holiday and one week not. So expecting lots of kids having fun but hope it’s not in the pool above us 😂🤣 we have heard that the staff are aware of the problem and stop people throwing water over. We are new to your channel and loving the content ❤️❤️
Thanks for the kind words. We hope you enjoy it..from memory the water actually passes over your balcony onto the two balconies further below...so certainly hope you dont have too many issues with it...mind you if its as hot as when we went you may be grateful for the cooling down! Alison & Ian
Fantastic. We're sure you'll love it. We're off on another adventure in a few days.. fed up of this weather. We look forward to seeing your thoughts on Iona. Alison&Ian
Can you fill me in where your cruise was taking you,we went on Iona when it was newish enjoyed, only too many families,on sea days it was like Butlins and there were a lot we missed out on doing onboard because of the no of people. Are there any other smaller cruise ships that are as nice as these two only fewer people ?thanks in advance, Lizzie
Hi Lizzie we went transatlantic to the Caribbean. Smaller cruise ships (as nice) are few and far between...though if you like P&O then we'd suggest looking at Britannia..or even check out our Azura videos of when we went round the canaries. If you want to avoid families then you need to consider cruising out of school holidays if possible.
We were in 11745 and experienced the over flow of the pool, dressed for dinner and standing on the balcony and got drenched. Love the cabin, but be warned about the water.
Ah yess i think we would all be out on the balconies at the same time looking up...it definitely seems that the balconies on deck 11 got it worse....we hope it didnt detract from the enjoyment of the cruise too much though.
Excellent cabin review video, never thought about using magnets on the cabin wall like a pinboard. Great idea 👍
Magnetic hooks are a game changer ❤️ get strong ones
Really useful review, thank you. We are in this cabin in March so will definitely keep the 'oversplash' in mind.
Thanks Sue...the cabin and the views are excellent...but clearly forewarned is forearmed 🙂 Hope you have a fantastic time!

Great video! Disappointing that the water from the infinity pools is still an issue!
Thanks for the feedback. We had hoped lessons had been learnt from Iona but sadly not. Still a great cabin overall.
