Just picked up the exact same bike for my wife and she loves it. It came with mustang seats and cobra pipes. She's Loud!!! Ill be making a video of the bike shortly! Seems like a great bike! Enjoy the ride!

Nice!!! I have an 04 650 Classic. I love it, ride as much as possible. In fact, today I got 2 new tires. My factory Dunlops are as bald as Mr. Clean. Beautiful bike Fred, take good care of her.

Thanks for the video. I was just searching V-Star 1100 for old electrical common main shorts. I enjoyed you video. I have a 2000 xvs1100 Classic that I bought new and have been trough 5 sets of Avon tires and now on Metzer 888s. I have had to fix her a couple of times due to dumbass drivers that hit and run and left me on the roadside. The triple 8s are awesome. I do not know why I have digressed maybe some bourbon was involved tonight, I did throw a DragStar 1100 engine in and still have the original 1100, it was about the color of the engine and well, all aluminum cylinders looks awesome on a polished black bike (I had to since the MFs hit and run). Sea foam is a great cleaner just watch a couple of Project Farm vids. Hope you have a great day Fred

hey,,,nice video....I have a 2001 VStar classic and love it,,,have a question though,,,havent had any issues with it at all...until today...went out to ride....choak on about half way,,,,starter spins...doesnt start...try again spins....battery compartment buzzes...like its a dead batterty,,,,i ride it almost every day.....cant imagine its a dead battery....but thats the way its acting...ordered a new battery,,,,,but my question is....I ride every day....but only about 2-3 miles one way...and then back to or three miles again...should I be riding longer? did I kill my battery because I dont ride long enough?

I did not know they made them. It looks like a Yammly-Davidson! Nice though. Thanks for the usual interesting posting. Just lacking in your usual quality and reasoned commentary but I suppose its harder to ride and talk.

Thinking about picking the 2000, 1100 up in a couple days, everything is bone stock. So you DO NOT have to rejet if you upgrade the exhaust?

Nice bike Fred. and alto not American 'as I believe you said couldn't afford' a Harley, the V Star are as near as you can get. Designed in California, and as I understand it V Star are an umbrella company! Yamaha USA! My v star over here in the lil ol UK even has parts on it stamped Made In USA ........................... yah I'm nearly American :) Great vids and keep up the good work

nice... Fred, I'm commenting as I watch. Your saiga 7.62 vid's were a great help. I just pulled my 2001 harley FXDX out after 4 years of sitting, and $1000+ (i listened to advice, and quit counting).
Nice ride Fred. But...my opinion..I only like the way it sounds above what I perceive as around 2500 rpm. My opinion...when people ask why you ride what brand you do...tell 'm to kiss your ass. love to ride and or shoot with you bud.
