So I'm having the same problem in my 2013 avenger I got the part but your video is the only one for an avenger exactly where is it located??? On the passenger side??
Hi Keisha, the car I worked on was a 2010, however Give me a few to gather more information in the 2013. Understand this, once you take this Cam censor out....yiur car still will have to be taken to a reputable macanic to clear the old fault codes. Give me a moment I WILL GET BACK with you OK.
OK I'm back, so on the 2013 it shows the CAM censor (a) near the oil fill cap at about three o'clock down in a little whole area. It should have a wire connected to it with a blue gasket around it. Now there is a video showing your car. Just type in Cam shaft censor and crank shaft censor your year make and model.
Why does that look like a crankshaft sensor? All the other videos say that's where the crankshaft sensor is and when I bought the crankshaft sensor that's what it looks like. The cam sensor is Way shorter. Unless AutoZone sold me the wrong part but I just bought them both.
Do you have to relearn the sensor? I have the same year avenger 2010 avenger sxt
Yes sir once changed the car won't go over 10mph or so. Any mechanic with decent LET can get you going.
