I'd be willing to wager the amount of people complaining about rerolling the strong runs with a D4/D100 video would be equal to the amount of people complaining about stopping on a uber strong build that we see all of the time who want more zane. Sometimes y'all just need to have fun with a run and chill.
Nobody should have a say about what you do in your runs, they are your runs after all so ugh idk.
Tbh it's all about preference in the end, everyone has different items they like or they just wanna test their luck with the rolling, also if you get a bad roll and start using items you don't usually pick up, than sometimes you find out things about those items or synergies between them you didn't realize before. The game is full of surprises and endless possibilities so I'd roll as much as possible unless I was at end of run like you was with low hp than it's understandable to play safe to not die.

Im not one to complain about sinvicta decisions but that was the easiest win ever thrown away
I'm curious about what Sin was looking for when rerolling, he mentioned looking for a good synergy or good stats, but he had Mom's Knife+C-section+ brim stone and was one-shoting bosses even with the bad damage, and passed on it.
Then he got awesome stats, 16 damage decent shot speed and movement speed, then rerolled again.
Might have just been for the Zaininess of it all, which I can understand.
Seeing you roll away the brim + mom's knife + c section setup was *PAINFUL*. It was easily the best setup of the whole video.
Agreed.... Just because the damage number was too low, but he was clearing the few mobs he faced quickly.
Moshpit I can't lie to I was waiting all day for this one just so I could share the ridiculousness of my run last night. Long story short I used Magic Skin in a secret room & ended up with Glitched Crown then eventually Rock Bottom after a few more uses on T.Samson. Was going to Beast but forgot the Fool card & dont need any other unlocks. Right as I was about to rage quit I realized R key could save the run. It. Took. Me. EVERY heart I had (literally died but 1up brought me back to 1 heart & 11 broken hearts) to finally get R key. Ended up smoking the rest of the run hitless with Holy Mantle, Host Hat, so many tear effects & 77 tears with 70 damage!

@Longcato Definitely my most broken run not including greedier mode shenanigans with the D20. I was scared at first only having 1 health until I noticed that a single button push cleared any room instantly. It got to the point where if I held down the shoot button for any longer than a single press the game was giving me a "Im Drowsy" effect because it couldn't handle everything on screen lol needless to say Beast died instantly
I might have to skip any d100 or d8 videos to protect my peace , watching sin reroll 14 damage and then reroll twisted pair tech zero and THEN reroll moms knife c section brimstone . I literally have no clue what you want and it’s making my head hurt . This is coming from Somone that hates to back seat game but the fact that you barely even acknowledge what you have is going to send me to an early grave .

Started off today with crap for stats and items, but thankfully we found the D100 right away. We rolled instantly into better stats, plus Libra, which is definitely a better start! From there we took a rollercoaster ride of nothing-burger runs with the D100, most of which netting us bad movement speed (it really is the theme of the week). We got one that gave us C-Section + Brimstone + Mom's Knife, which I thought for sure we'd stick with, but we made like Limp Bizkit, and we kept rollin' rollin' rollin'.
Like Sinvicta said, it's hard to rate runs like these on Jasonator53's Repentance Eden Run Dunk Rating. This honestly feels more like a TMTrainer run in the way that - it doesn't matter what we take, we don't know what it's going to roll into, or what it's going to end up doing for us. In general for any given Eden run, the questions you ask are "how did it start, how did it go, how did it end?" That takes into account everything, from the great or not so great beginnings to the random ways the game screws with us, to the usually decently powerful finale (and onwards into Victory Laps/attempted Omega Runs). So for this? The start was crap, but we got the D100 instantly, so it was okay. The mid game was also okay, any bad rolls we had weren't so debilitating that we couldn't roll out of it quickly. Some rolls were amazing, and I was almost a little mad that we didn't stop rolling there. The end however had me nervous. We came too close for comfort in the Dark Room, and Ceremonial Robes kind of bailed us out. We saw the absolute lows and some pretty good highs on this run, so I'm gonna stick with a rating of 5 for the day. That's Repentance, Baby!
Yeah the c section moms knife brimstone was good despite the low stats because it did ludicrous damage despite them and the move speed was good

I'm tempted to call the sissy rule on this one for a flat 7 but since we rolled out of it I can't argue with this rating ;)
An idea for a challange, the D100 challange! Basically whenever you have a full charge at the D100, you MUST reroll. You can choose in which room you can reroll(to not fight the boss/hard room again etc.) but u must always reroll. Another name of the challenge would be “Eternal Eden”
QOTD: would you consider doing some more fiend folio, Isaac survivors, sinvicta character runs?
I’d love to see you and NSP to release a song together, love his voice and love your music. Plus a game grumps crossover would be hilarious

QOTD: What new pills would you add? Fiend Folio has pills that clear curses, add/reduce tear size, spawn red poop/holy poop and more. Personally I'd love a curse clearing pill.

QOTD: I know you said you would not be interested in starting a new save file and unlocking everything again, but have you considered doing a blank save for a Co-Op only play-through? Maybe when online co-op releases later this year? I recently got back into Isaac again and have been playing local co-op with my boyfriend, it's an absolute blast and since we get unlocks on both characters we play with we've been able to fly though completion marks. It also allows a somewhat easier way to get unlocks on some difficult characters like tainted lost.

When playing runs like these where you use the d100 throughout the run, does it exhaust you more than a normal run? you essentially have to re-adapt your playstyle everytime you reroll, feels exhausting to me constantly manage changing items and stats.

If you defeat moms leg before it reaches past the floor she’s on, that’s how you know you will get boss rush. It’s kind of like a visible way to see if boss rush is achievable.
