Gould’s JS Shallow Well Pump Diaphragm and Vane Seal Installation

This video will help you with the correct installation of your new diaphragm and vane seal on your JS Series pump. Gould’s customer service is a nightmare to try to get on the telephone, but I got lucky this morning and actually spoke to a live person who was very helpful. This video should work for all JS Series pumps. The J5SH pump shown in this video is the 1/2 horsepower high pressure version of the J5S.

Do you know the torque specs for the reassembling that pump. I still have a slight leak when putting the pump together and am afraid to tighten the 4 bolts anymore for fear of breaking one of the "ears" off. Thanks for your time.
