I agree that declawing is a disgusting thing! But to make the experience equal, you would have to remove the guardian’s first finger joint, not just the nail. Removing a cat’s claws involves removing the toe joint that contains the claw. We adopted a beautiful, sweet cat that had already been declawed. He lived to be 19 years old, but in his last year he could barely walk. Our vet told us removing a cat’s claws causes extreme arthritis late in life. It broke my heart to see him trying to walk around the house. PLEASE! DON’T DECLAW YOUR CATS!!!
Declawing is a disgusting thing. Their guardians should have all their nails removed then they'll know how painful it is!
