It's definitely worth it man. I was never a fan of reading let alone manga, but the manga is easily 10 times better if not more. It goes into much more detail and the story is much better in it, it instantly got me hooked. I definitely recommend giving it a shot.

People make it to MTV and on television shows, get their own articles in magazines and even get an anime/manga based off of them and their music.
