I have a Y9 2019 and I have no regrets. Getting it is one of my best decisions. I used to buy high end phones before particularly from either Samsung, LG or Sony coz those are the biggest names and trusted brands in the industry but they got so damn expensive until someone bought my LG V30 and I decided to try out the Y9 2019 when it first came out to the market and I easily fell in love! Mid range phones can do whatever it is that a high end phone can do so now, I was able to add a lot of money in my bank account and I have a gadget that is reliable and stunning. It's actually great looking but the Redmi Note 7 is a great choice too however I would have chosen it if it was already out in December of 2018 and if there is already a Global ROM.

Solely relying on Antutu is not okay. Of all Yugatech's videos, this is clearly-not bias like what people say-an unreliable judgment. If the one who reviews can't elaborate the specs and just states the RAM and CPU of the phone when clearly they are two different chipsets, I think that is not enough. You should at least have a gaming review including the pros and cons of those two different chipsets since they have two different focus though they have the same functionality. Plus if you can't take the right way of taking photos including the rule of thirds, then I think you can't judge apertures and light as well since the rule of thirds is the basic of taking photos. Constructive criticism only, people.

The forearm zoom is not fair. Because the 2 pictures are not the same. In huawei pic,the column is behind the guy, while the redmi pic has the column beside the guy. And the posing of the guy,redmi was standing straight while in huawei,the guy is leaning to the right. So that is weird you didn't saw the difference.
I felt like i am a pro photographer since i used the Y9 2019 from Photo to Night mode and the battery can survived all day long and I also I noticed that it always have fast charging for about 2hrs and 15 mins (0-100%) and Huawei never mention it.
Having experienced using both, the Redmi Note 7 is the winner for me. It just feels better in the hand, better cameras and better speakers. Performance wise, they are about the same.
The megapixels on the Redmi Note 7 is way higher from the Y9 2019, which is 48 megapixels of main camera compared to 16 megapixels main camera. But it doesn't mean that if you have a higher megapixel, you get a better quality. To simply explain these, megapixels is the size or the resolution of the image. Megapixels captures the size of an image and the Sensor of a phone captures the data and information of an image. The sensor is responsible for the quality of an image. Therefore, in the review, it looked like the quality of an image in both smartphones have the same quality. Both cameras came in close, it is a tie for me. The only thing that bothers me with those cameras is that the Redmi Note 7 makes you look so white and the exposure is a bit dark, and for the Y9, it looks better outdoor and the night mode feels a little bit unrealistic. I still prefer the Y9, though the Redmi Note 7 was my first choice. I have bought the Y9 too. It is up to your preference which phone you want. This is just to sum up the details about their cameras.

Although the redmi note 7 is protected with gorilla glass 5 which is scratch resistant. I can say it should not? Since my phone has gorilla glass 3 yet the screen aint even damaged from my careless handlings

RN7 with gorilla glass 5 front and back. Usb type-C with Qc4 support. Latest Android version 9 and will be supported til 11. Camera with bigger aperture. And even with benchmark result, some people still think the review is biased for RN7.

It’s weak around the sim slot and volume rocker area where there isn’t metal to support the plastic from the inside due to the slots. Should be good for normal use though. Someone online also tried using it the same way Xiaomi advertised its durability (stepping on it, cracking wall nuts, opening watermelons, kicking it around, etc...). You should be good
Mae Alcantara no problem! Reviews are a bit confusing because some people say it’s really good while others crack easily. General consensus is that it’s durable, but I guess a few in the batch just break easily for some reason 🤷🏽♂️ hope you decide soon!

Dont charge your phone from 0% to 100% it shorthen the battery life..

Y9 talaga panalo dito..kahit naka s7 edge ako nakahawak na ako ng y9 talagang pang laban sa gaming lalo na sa vainglory naka high settings at sa nba 2k19 .. yung sa camera palaban din kahit papano kaso panalo s7 edge sa camera saka sa 60 fps stabilization video. Para saken y9 ..sobrang bilis mag charge at malobat kaya yun gamit ko sa kapatid ko pag nag lalaro lakas kase kumain sa bat pag naka s7 edege ako

Di nila alam ang rule of thirds tapos magjujudge sa dynamic range? Haha fyi you can shoot 48mp for pro mode di sinabe kung naka promode ang note 7 baka ginawang auto lang 12mp lang yon. Tsaka try nila mag shot ng pro mode sa low light pupulutin sa kangkungan yang redmi 😂
@@trishaescobar5605 Yeah. I've seen a camera comparison between Redmi N7, sammy A7 2018 and Nova 3i and I was shookt because the Note 7 destroyed both the A7 and Nova 3i at night. Well I'm not a fan of Xiaomi or redmi but I can handle the truth that Note 7 has the best camera on its price range and even better than other phones priced higher..
ang problema ko dyn sa XRN7 e yung hybrid sim. dalawa simcard ko ginagamit at lahat naman ng files ko nasa 128gb memory card ko. hindi pwedi my e give up ako na simcard or memory card.

gusto ko sana ang Xiaomi Redmi note 7 ang problema ko dyn ay dalawa ang simcard ko,hindi magagamit ang 128g memory card ko e andun lahat ng mga files ko. ang actual price naman ng XRN7 11K sa 3/32 at 12,999 nman sa 4/64 (Lazada/Shopee/Xiaomi Baclaran). kaya Y9 na binili ko and so far superb ang performance. napakalinaw ng cam natural ang kuha. battery makunat tagal malowbat. hindi nag iinit kahit pa ilang oras nood ng video, fast charger din naman 10-100% in 2hrs 5mins.

@@jenchulichaeng9029 maganda sya sir, by the way my redmi note 7 narin po ako. sa y9 specs wise, bigger display sarap panooran ng mga vedios, better battery life, madaling e full charge kahit hindi type C. lightning fast yung finger scanner, maganda yung optimization nya, superb din yung camera but not so in lowlight and yung notch esp uso n ngyn yung dew/water drop/ v infinity display. no lags sa mga basic games na nilalaro ko. value for money ang y9 2019. pero tignan nyo din po sa mga reviews yung budget friendly na samsung M20 at realme 3. sa redmi note 7 nman kailangan lng makutingting/makalikot ka tulad sakin china rom pero the best rin esp ang camera nya if you install GCAM.

@@jenchulichaeng9029 value for money ang Y9 sir especially sa reliability, subok na ang Huawei kung baga. pag praktisan mu sir yung pro mode ng camera nyan sa lowlight, adjust the ISO and shutter speed para sa maganda kuha sa gabi. no big deal sa type c adapter kasi fast charging nman ang y9. and sumali ka sa group ng Y9 Philippines and y9 photography Philippines.

Mae Alcantara Gorilla Glass 5 should be better. I think you’re talking about the bend test? It’s weak around the sim slot and volume rocker area where there isn’t metal to support the plastic from the inside due to the slots. Should be good for normal use though. Someone online also tried using it the same way Xiaomi advertised its durability (stepping on it, cracking wall nuts, opening watermelons, kicking it around, etc...). You should be good

Mae Alcantara no problem! Reviews are a bit confusing because some people say it’s really good while others crack easily. General consensus is that it’s durable, but I guess a few in the batch just break easily for some reason 🤷🏽♂️ hope you decide soon!
