For me Honor 8x, its good even the battery bit low than y9. If honor up the battery 4000mAh or above, i pretty sure it will be most likely to be almost completed smartphone for gamers.
Honor 8x easily breaks in just one accidental drop😭 Yes, it is a great phone but when it comes to durability it sucks😔 My money just got wasted on this phone. But Now I have this y9, the toughness of this phone is so Great. I dropped it couple of times and it didn't break. I'd still go for huawei y9 because of its durability.💪

I think is micro USB is better than type c....if we use type c it little hard to find powerbank or charger or usb type c model...this because not all people using type c...

Huawei makes great phone. But they don't need that much models. They are just milking and confusing their customers. My only complaint about the Y9 is, there is no indicator light when you get a message. You have to keep opening your phone periodically to see i you received any messages....Sucks

I have the Huawei Y9 (2019). And I'm impressed with it. Performance is smooth and fast . Gaming is also smooth and very decent. But I got a little bit scared after my region got an Honor 8x after I bought the Y9 2019 but the more I look at Honor 8x the more I think they are the same. I can easily overlook the micro Usb and the storage but I can't overlook the design. But anyway I am very happy with my Y9 2019 but I do agree the honor 8x is better. If Huawei price drop the Y9 (2019) lower than the Honor 8x then Huawei will be a a perfect choice.
