This is great. Can you please tell me how to draw a rectangle to a specific size, please? I’m trying to draft a sewing pattern but can’t figure out how to draw shapes to exact measurements.
A lot will be similar in Photo v2, but there are some things that are different for example strokes don't work in Affinity Photo because it uses foreground and background colors instead of fill and stroke. So it acts weird and there is no stroke panel. Most of the things are the same though. Did you search @bendesignsmedia on instagram? I should come up with my channel logo as the picture.
Hi Eric, use the transform studio (on the right hand side) to manually set the exact size of a shape. You set both the width and the height there or you can link them together to maintain aspect ration. That is also where you can set things like skew and rotation. Hope that helps.
really helpful video. Thank You

Once you have drawn a shape you can set its parameters using the transform studio to what ever specific dimensions you would like.
Okay but why can’t I just get the outline on mine. Everything is always filled.
Would this class work for using shapes in photo2? Also I’m not able to find you on Instagram
