But also??..im about to live a completely healthy life and sitting at 260LBS...im picturing how healthy im going to be and its making me feel so excited ❤❤
Take it a day at a time. If you can make it through today, you can make it through tomorrow. Everyday you wake up, you’ve been given another chance. I topped out at 225 and had the gastric bypass, 15 years ago. A lot of people would say 225 wasn’t anything, but everyday I wondered if that was the day I would have a heart attack and die. Everyday I wondered if I would die. I’ve got zero regrets about the drastic surgery and change I went through. You can make it through, yes you can.
Why did it take this diagnosis to make you change? Why could you not stop binge eating before? You were damaging your health then too. Are you being treated now for the binge eating?? Were you formally diagnosed with binge eating disorder? You do know that ALL junk food is off the list otherwise you will back.

Hi Sean! I started watching your channel last May when I got into OU's bariatric program. I was "only" 285 but had every obesity-related complication there was in the book. I was also s* and not in a good place at all mentally. It's been almost a year since my gastric bypass and I have hit my "Big Goal" of being in the 160's. I'm still working to see if I can get a little lower than that but I'm pretty thrilled with where I'm at healthwise. You got me through some pretty rough times. Every time I got depressed because the scale stuck or was cranky because I had a wrestle with a bad craving or had to force myself to exercise on days I just wanted to lay in bed, I put one of your videos on and got through whatever bad moments I was having. Your quote "the only hole you can't dig yourself out of is the grave" stuck in my head every day. I came back to your channel for nostalgia's sake. My 4 year old remembered you because she'd watch this with me sometimes when she got bored/didn't want to go to bed LOL. She also refers to Veggie Straws as "Sean Chips" when we go to the store LOL. Anyway, I wanted to thank you for all the "support" because you helped me get here. I went from wanting to die to really living for the first time in my life. My husband also said to thank you because watching this made me less hard to deal with at the gym LOL.

It seems like the mom really preferred Susan to her sister, it's sad. I work at taco bell and I can tell you the reason it takes long is needing to fry to order and staffing issues like why can’t people have more compassion for food service workers. The other night we had 4 CALL OFFS AND 1 NCNS like cut us some slack.
@WrenHuang I love Taco Bell...I understand that food takes time to cook.. I would think that the woman would have been more happier to receive fresh food instead of food that's starting to get old an stale.
The mother is abusing that poor dog. If you don’t want the dog, and obviously you don’t considering the poor thing is in a cage 24/7, give it to someone who will love and cherish the dog like it should be!!!!!!! A dog doesn’t belong in a cage!!!

Susan’s sister is a saint for standing up to their mother and how much she cares about Susan
Her story about the father threatening them with the gun is so scary. A few weeks ago my friends daughter was murdered by her boyfriends father in a really similar situation, except he decided to shoot his wife and son and my friends daughter, before he lit the house on fire and fled. @@catherinevineyard5942 the fear of a McDonald’s employee when a 600lb person yells about their food. I’d be tossing fries in her mouth while she’s yelling.
When I have fast food, I don't get salads. I think it's a waste and homemade salads are better (more tasting, bigger, and healthier).
Chances are she may have never worked a job in her entire life. The people working at McDonald's are paying the taxes that allows her to be able to stay at home and get disability. A little humility and a little bit of thankfulness might be nice on her part

@@TheRealfan1it's a waste to eat salads instead of greasy fried food when you're 600 lbs? Right...
How come the parents never get Hot Wheels or Barbies instead of candy.
Or a hug and a meaningful conversation- and those are free!
Or a piece of chalk and a sidewalk for hopscotch and the park. As a kid I played outside and most of my indoor toys were for days/nights that you couldn’t be outside. It’s not natural for a child to be lazy and hungry. My mum had to force us to eat because we were happy active kids. It’s the parents and environment.
For real. My sweet daughter went through so much with her dad as a child. We both did. When I wanted to cheer her, I bought her new toys. Never even occured to me to feed her candy.

She's really manipulative. Anytime she hears or has to deal with something she doesn't like, she has a breakdown, so people stop and just coddle her
She eventually got down to 210 which included 50 lbs skin removal

Oh yes, she has a cat too, but in that bathroom scene at the very beginning, there was a little brown Chihuahua in a pen. That dog in the cage makes mad. Poor thing! They probably don't want him around in the house because she could trip on him and fall. But give him to someone who can care after him.
In Sweden we have hamsters in cages, never dogs or cats. 🥀
@@martinasikk6162 i always keep hamsters in huge terrariums / aquariums that are 1.20 meters MINIMAL with natural decor like: bark, wood, at least 10 different types of chew toys, non dusty cotton bedding with soft (non sented) paper bedding, hay, straw, coconut fiber, soil, a lot of safe plants, you can also give them non sented tissues (they LOVE making a little bed out of that) and one of the most important things, a sand bath! Not the dust kind of stuff but proper white play sand so they can care for their coats (they will also use this as their toilet which makes spot cleaning so easy). A healthy diet is also very important, some basic food is good especially when it has some dried worms, fruits and herbs in it but also add some greens and fruits (very small portions) every once in the 2 days (make sure you keep an eye on where they keep their extra food so it doesn't mold if they decide to hide the fruits and veggies. Cages can cause many accidents (not always ofc). As long as it's big enough it can be okay for some but just be careful they don't climb on the bars or chew the bars wich causes teeth problems!

My kids are all grown now, but I’ve struggled with my weight my whole life. When they were little, I tried hard to teach them better food habits than I had.
